Should be zero stars for first time experience at new locationā¦food: ended up not getting any. Service: didnāt get serviced. Atmosphere: packed and hot. My wife and I took a friend over to get ice cream and we were in line for about 45 min to finally be first in line. Our friend was serviced and he was waiting on us to get serviced only to be surprised just as much as we were, that we were being skipped by the workers. The couple behind us started getting serviced as we waited patiently for one of the workers to start taking our order. Then another one of the workers started working on the family(4-5 people) behind the couple that was behind us. My wife and I getting irritated but still patiently waiting finally had enough when our friend told the worker who went to help the big family that we have been getting skipped and all he said was āIāll take care of them right nowā then proceeded to take the order of the family. The moment both the couple and family behind us moved past us to go pay is when we said weāll go elsewhere. We were there Saturday 09/28/2024 around 7:30. Thatās for management to look at who was working and to hopefully train them better. A simple, have you been helped yet? Would have done the trick. We were excited to have the new ice cream shop in town but due to this experience, weāll stick with the businesses that havenāt given...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIād like to consider myself a Coldstone Connoisseur haha I go way too much. I love Coldstone. Needless to say, this location just opened so grace is definitely needed. They will get it together to run smoothly. Like everyone else I did wait a while even when the line wasnāt that long and my first Icecream was made and had to sit while the other had to be made. I just offer some advice for the team working: to simply say āhello, Iāll be with you in a moment etcā goes a long way rather than letting the person who is ready to place their order just stand there not knowing when they will be addressed. Simple courtesy. Also, if Icecream is being ordered together and a flavor is not readily available to make the other(s) donāt make the first yet until they can be done together. Melting icecream creates frustration for the customer and a bad customer experience. Lastly, once my second order was made it took some time to be rung up. To make things smoother maybe the person who made your order should ring you up or a consistent person should be at the register. Both of my Icecreams were melted at this point and dripping everywhere and I had to grab a bunch of napkins. The team was still learning the orders and groove of things but hope this info helps moving forward. I will return because...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen we walked in four probably teenaged employees were all behind the counter. Two customers in front of us were helped but before we could order there appeared to be an argument between the four employees over who would leave and who would stay. For approx 10 mins they went back & fourth over who was going home and it didnāt appear that the 3 remaining employees were happy. Two walked away and stood talking while one was pushing ice cream around with the metal utensils after a minute she asked if we had been helped we told her our sons order and before we could say or order anything else she had made his and went to the register at this point we felt very unwelcome and just went with it while waiting we saw a sticker on the counter for scary cupcakes we asked how much they were and she points to the freezer and says ājust go get them and Iāll ring them upā we grabbed them and paid for them and left but it was such a unpleasant experience we probably wonāt go back. I know they are a new business but thatās even more reason why the employees shouldnāt already be sick of dealing with...
