I LOVE ART IN MOTION PETS!!! I love walking in and saying hello to the turtles and the Bullfrog that live in the pond underneath the Awesome Piano Fountain! And before you even walk around the counter, you are greeted by friendly faces as well as getting a special greeting and welcome from the store mascot and over-see'r Kenya, the Amazon Gray! Kenya works on learning new words and phrases every few weeks and has an incredibly extensive and fun vocabulary. Whether you love the Andy Griffith theme song, listening to missles whistle down and "explode," or just like the compliment of a good ole' "Wolf call" to remind you that you've still got it...Kenya knows it all!!! Art In Motion has all your pet needs such as food, toys, and accessories for various pets from Cats and Dogs to Snakes and Trantulas!!! Stop in, look around, and enjoy Mike's "feel good" music!! Don't be afraid to sing along to the oldies but the goodies while visiting the sweet puppies and adorable kittens! Have questions about fish or aquariums? Your in the right place at Art In Motion because that is how all of this wonderful goodness got its start, now over 30 years ago! Wait! Don't see what you need?! Just ask the great staff and they can point you in the right direction, or possibly order specifically what you might need if they don't already have it in store! Even if you don't have pets, Art In Motion is a great place to visit whether you are entertaining your children or just out for a Sunday Drive! Who knows...maybe you'll find something, or "someone" special to adopt that needs a friend like you! Did I already tell you that I LOVE ART IN MOTION PETS?!! I thought so...
Read moreThe store currently has a female and male Husky for sale. I know this because I was recently in the store to purchase an item for my cat. I was aware of the cost of the puppy because it was noted on the sign. We were going to purchase the puppy for our daughter as a surprise. However, when my husband and I returned to the store we weren't given the same courtesy as others. I asked to see the male puppy. This information is not disclosed on any signage. Obviously, I am familier with the animals for sale. However, what is noted is" serious inquiries only." I can understand asking me if I am serious about purchasing; even with this being in writing and I can read. My husband and I was looked up and down and then she looks back at the sign as if we can't afford the puppy. She then asked are we sure that we're serious. I advised I no longer wanted to see the puppy because of the treatment. I left the store and immediately called back to the store to voice my concerns about my treatment. I was very detailed about my interaction and experience. Also that we were there to purchase the puppy but wanted to see him prior to purchase. I explained that they missed out on a sale. The manager Chuck did not display any empathy. He was really short stating, "That is what we ask and sorry YOU feel this way." I didn't know making an inquiry required being looked up and down. No concern about the sale. I will no longer be shopping...
Read moreI called to have my newly adopted feline friend groomed. She was just picked up from the humane society, and she had matted fur around her bum. We couldn't bathe her bc she also just had surgery . They said they no longer groom cats However, if I brought Gracie in they would take a look and see what they could do to help me out. Maybe 10/15$ to trim her. We went in they trimmed her and didn't charge me a thing. This cat was afraid from all the drama she had been through the last week. She didn't even jump when the kind lady trimmed her. She was so soft gentle and sweet. Thank you. I didn't get her name! Would highly recomend! I just called again to ask a few questions about a stray kitten that ended up in my yard. They were so kind answered all of my questions researched what they did not know for me right then and there and provided me with the exact medications that were needed to treat this kitten for things. Thank you so much Art In Motion...
