Description of Issue: Customer states he was advised 3 week install window, 3 weeks later install showed up and countertop was measured wrong, this was admitted to by Lowes Installer.
5 weeks later from the 1st attempted install. The 2nd attempted install was also wrong, error admitted by manufacturer, Hartson-Kennedy, Inc. wrong measurements used and countertop doesn't fit.
Final install 3rd attempt was 1/08 with successful install, 15 weeks from purchase. Customer is requesting 2000.00 refund as this is a rental property and due to all the delays he is out 3-4 months income and paying mortgage on an empty income property.
The Resolution: The customer is to received a credit of $285 as a "good faith offer". Customer understands this is a one time, TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT, offer and no further compensation will be offered by Hartson-Kennedy, Inc.

They did immediately begin working on the new one as soon as there mistake was pointed out. They did get it done in a week which I do appreciate. However instead of delivering to my house they delivered to the Lowe's store, so now I have to go pick it up from the store in the rain. Called to make a complaint and was told they couldn't get the delivery to me because home delivery was shutying down the next day and they wouldn't be able to get it out till after first of the year. The same truck makes the deliveries to the store. And the store is less than 3 miles from my house. You skrewed up my order and then you're going to make it easier on yourselves and do the easiest possible thing and then make excuses. Don't order from this company save yourself some headache. We're waiting and waiting and waiting for this countertop. Finally, call them after two weeks of waiting and they say you have to pay before we start making it. Well, I don't have a problem with paying first, but can you communicate that? They could have let us know up front, when my contractor gave them the dimensions that it needed to be paid for before they started on it. So I pay for it online.
