A well-earned critical review.
After being seated, our order was taken quickly and arrived with a few surprises. Our drinks arrived first, the Pepsi was a Diet Pepsi. As our server walked past, we brought this to her attention, and soon, the manager appeared to explain that the only options I had were diet. Diet Mountain Dew or Diet Pepsi; I had a lemonade...
The jalapeños burger is really a cheeseburger with a jalapeños popper stapled to the top of the bun with a toothpick.
Our server accidentally entered the wrong sandwich for the other person in our party, and a burger arrived. To her credit, she resolved the issue as quickly as possible, but the Philly Cheesesteak just does not taste the way others have at other Wings locations.
When it is time to check out, our bill arrives and sits for 10 minutes as we wait fornour credit card to be taken. We look for our server, who is on her cell phone. When she returns to the table, we ask to speak to the manager and explain our concerns, and the server actually starts raising her voice. Being the person not in the conversation, I was able to see she did it without provocation and with a calm level response from our table.
When the manager arrived at our table our concerns were heard and the restaurant has apparently not had real soda for 2 days. When placing our order, that would be very relevant information. I also think I would have found a resolution to that problem much sooner than 2 days without a significant drink option.
A few questions: how are you mixing drinks if all you have is diet? How is a server there and on shift without being informed there has been a major constraint in drink options for 2 days? Why is our table told the manager is in the back putting together a $500 to go order when we ask to speak to him and the server attempts to ring us out quickly. Our insistence on seeing the manager before our ticket is rung up is probably the only reason we spoke to them this evening. He genuinely seemed surprised to hear about a large to go order requiring his attention.
We will not return to this establishment and will share the experience. Everyone and every place is allowed to fail to meet expectations, but to be lied to and not treated with respect will lose...
Read moreOur waitress was nice, but we didn’t feel cared for as a whole. We would rather take the extra 40 minutes to go to the Wabash location where we’ve felt so welcomed every time. When you walk in a sign says wait to be seated and we waited a long time to be seated when there was only 2 tables of guests and the rest of the restaurant was empty. We had 2 children and were never asked if we needed high chairs and ended up grabbing them on our own. For my alcoholic drink I was asked if I wanted salt or sugar, I said salt, and received sugar. After receiving everything we were only asked once, when we were done eating of everything was okay and if we needed anything and my partner never received a refill for his drink. I ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer and they were too hard to eat, and the dry rub wings with the Caribbean jerk and 8/15 basically tasted like plain wings because there was no seasoning on them. Not a great experience as we were already stressed trying to hold the kids and eat. There was one waitress who was on her phone a lot (I understand maybe being on break, but she should be out of customers view), the waitresses mainly were just standing behind a wall talking to each other, and at one point they ordered pizza and were talking bad about the delivery driver, so makes me wonder what they say...
Read moreWent in for dinner on a Thursday night. The hostess sat us by a bunch of loud drunk guys in the back instead of bussing one of the 6 messy tables that were still there when we left.. we sat for a good 15 minutes before what I assume was the manager asked if we had been helped yet.. I said no then he just walked away and started bussing a table... instead of asking us what we would like to order or help the servers out he just walked away... The waitress was very busy so we understood why she hadn't been by yet. She came to our table and was very polite and apologetic. There was only two waitresses and one hostess Working... we ordered two burgers, tacos and an appetizer.. it took about 40 minutes to get our food. The tacos were to have no tomato, they came out with tomato and our daughters hamburger bun was as hard as a hockey puck. No one came to check on us until we were pretty much done eating.. we love coming here but this time it was just not a good experience. I blame lack of teamwork on the management side of things this time.. our server was working her butt off dealing with multiple...
