I would recommend this place to anyone who likes coffee and even more to those who love it.
My partner and I stopped here and got two drinks each. They were all wonderful.
We got a cafe miel and a ginger latte. The cafe miel is less sweet than many are but it is balanced very well and has some cinnamon on it. The honey it is made with comes from an apiary where they bees make the honey using coffee blossoms for pollen. The ginger latte is a latte with ginger and lime. It is unique and has a strong ginger taste with a burn similar to ginger beer.
The best drinks we had were their seasonal ones. I had an aged maple garnished with a charred orange peel and my partner had a toasted cardamom mocha with toasted marshmallow as a garnish. Both of them were expertly crafted drinks that were exceptionally balanced. This isn't a place that tries to explode and distract your taste buds with sugar.
They also had a piano that guests can play. One person did while we were there and they paused the music for them. That was a very nice touch to an already wonderful...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am currently nestled into a corner seat, watching this awesome coffee shop come to life. To my right there is a large open room with a stage. Directly ahead is the coffee bar, and a well stocked book store is to the right. I am lucky enough, that I am here on a breezy Saturday morning. The garage door is open and they have some relaxing late 70s early 80s music going. It looks like a small farmer's market is setting up out in front. Honestly, every town needs a spot like this. As for the coffee, it really doesn't get any better. I followed another reviewers advice and started with a vanilla latte. Absolutely delish! I am patiently awaiting the "fresh scones" to bake. In the meantime, I shall enjoy my latte and read a book. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! UPDATE: Pretty sure the Orange Chocolate Chip Scone is probably one of the yummiest things I've had in...

On the other side of the coffee shop is a bookstore that is accessible from Abbey. The music is not normal coffee shop tunes, sort of alternative coffee shop music similar to some things played at Starb's. The beans are locally roasted in small batches, so there is a really good, true flavor experience...not the burnt taste that needs flavorings to hide. Staff was incredible and fun, even some patrons were doing a short dance when certain songs came on. Many were there studying, I was working in the balcony on a business trip. Definitely will return to...
