We visited with a hungry group of 21 after a 12 hour van ride to get here for a youth conference. When our leader walked in and said we were a group of 21 they responded “No, go down the street.” Then proceeded to give dirty looks and attitude to our entire group of hungry teens as we all ordered, then after most had eaten and some were receiving the custard they had ordered a cup was slammed down on the table in front of myself and some of our teens and the table number snatched off the table. Should we have called ahead? Possibly, but the restaurant was relatively empty, only a couple of other tables, and nobody else was getting food when we arrived. Also, no a single one of our orders was complicated, no special requests or weird asks, we tried to make it as easy as possible. Had I known about the initial exchange before ordering my food I wouldn’t have out of concern for the quality after we clearly ruined their workers day. Maybe some training in customer service and a reminder of the fact that prepping food for lots of people is literally their job. I did enjoy the Christian music being played, however, the attitude did not match...
Read moreexcellent restaurant, truly; but perhaps they have begun to slip. just got back from there in my nice car, i’m sure you’ve seen it, and ordered one of the famous butter burgers, now the burger is not the problem, nor the vanilla concrete mixer i ordered along with it. but the problem lies in the curds, yes, the cheese curds. arguably one of the best items at culver’s, so i ordered them, as any sane man would do. excited to eat said curds i waited patiently, listening to BIGBABYGUCCI. the wait was fine with my own accommodation of excellent music but when the young lad came to give me my food, i was excited. i opened the bag to grab my curds to only be met with no curds, but french fries. i didn’t pay much attention to the boy so he may of had a look in his eye for he could of been toying with me, some funny prank he could of thought. but prank or not i was curdless, and there was no way i was gonna go inside and complain. until next time culver’s, make sure to give me...
Read moreThis location does not follow the corporate recipes and instructions for multiple varieties of their featured “Flavor of the Day” I love Culver’s frozen custard and other foods and I often visit the restaurant in the community where I work that day. My work territory includes many cities in Indiana including Marion, Wabash, Warsaw, Fort Wayne, Fishers, Indianapolis, Carmel, Westfield, Terre Haute. I have enjoyed many custard flavors at Culver’s locations in all of these communities. The Marion special flavors stand out due to the absence of the ingredients which comprise the special flavors. On multiple visits to the Marion location, the flavor of the day that I received was plain vanilla or chocolate custard with a tiny sprinkle of some of the ingredients needed to make the featured flavor. On each occasion, the manager insisted that the flavor was made correctly when I complained. I don’t recommend the...
