United States Postal Service — Local services in Marion

Starting three weeks to a month ago i have not been getting any mail in my mailbox for days in a row. For 18 years i've lived where im at and I've always had something come in the mail wither it's junk or bills i always got stuff. I would understand if it was a week or two where this was happening while training a new route driver for the area, but a month going days without mail is unacceptable. I had something i ordered monday last week, it could have been delivered thursday, its arrival time to my post office was 7am thursday morning. I needed it by saturday night, NO LATER. not only was it not delivered friday when i should have gotten it, but it was not delivered Saturday either, when i know for fact the post office runs their drivers. Now its Sunday morning and im infuriated. And i have no clue what my packages current scan even means... Which is this: "Held at PO. Retrieved from full locker". So someone picked up my package?!? There were about 5 people waiting in line for one white haired guy who was just shooting the breeze with a woman in black. They were not conducting any "business", but the postal clerk seemed totally unconcerned about wasting everyone's time while he conversed about things not related to his job. I went around looking for a vending machine to get stamps and couldn't find one, and came back a few minutes later and they were STILL chatting despite more people coming into the post office. I finally left out of rage at his rudeness and shot him a dagger look, which he noticed. Ironically, he was telling her among other things, "this is a high energy post office". If so, he wasn't part of that crew. I will NEVER return. Outrageous. I'll go to the downtown post office, 20 miles out of my way to avoid these apathetic rude...

I had 2 dvd packages delivered yesterday. One made it inside the mailbox while the other was just tossed on the ground in front of the mailbox. I find this very disrespectful bc it could have been easy set on my porch to which the mailbox is attached to. With the weather the way it was it could have been there til spring and if it still had not still been a little light outside I would not have even known it was there.
