I worked at Target for 4 years while I was in high school and college so I’m pretty familiar with Target’s standards for team members, and this store is seriously falling short.
Nobody was in electronics over the course of the hour I was in the store. I checked back multiple times and it remained empty. I was cut off by a tm with a restock cart and he just stood there until I moved out of his way instead of moving out of mine (aren’t these carts supposed to remain in the main aisle ways anyway?). I have no problem moving out of the way bc I understand it’s easier to restock with it in the aisle, but the fact that he just stood there staring at me without saying a word was what was irritating.
Got to checkout and they had three lanes open plus self checkout. I had to go through a lane bc I had a locked item. One cashier stood there just talking to another employee (which didn’t really bother me at first). The the other cashier literally looked right at me and then walked away, and looked at the first cashier and pointed to me. She finished her conversation with the other employee then also looked right at me and walked away. So 2 lanes with lights on and both employees just walked away to do whatever. The lanes also don’t allow you to see the screens anymore so you can’t see what’s being rang up or how much anything costs. You also can’t see a total as you go. You have to ask for the total at the end or wait for the employee to tell you what it is.
The ONLY reason I’m giving this store 3 stars instead of 1 is that the third cashier, wearing the name tag Lenny, redeemed the store. Says he’s been here for about 18 years and I can see why. He’s pleasant, he smiles, he chatted with me while he rang up my items. I hope this location realizes that this man is carrying the customer service...

And this week I bought some product online and this product they didn’t have on my local Target; then I chose the other Target from the City I used to live before. I went there I choose others kind of products and then when was the time to pickup my order I just felt one disorganisation;I asked for one attendant (teenage)on register and she was kind of rude to explain about the lines; One line for pickup your order and the same line for your to check out on your own,really? This is so disorganised. Then if for example I’m waiting for pickup my order and then has 5 people in my front just to check out their order and then I have to wait them and then I will pickup my order. Really? This is disorganised. And to be honest I did not like . Target has so many kind of customer and all customer should have the good and same service. I’m really disappointed with it. Unfortunately this was my experience on pickup order service. After That I will never send my order to pick up on this Target from Lynch Boulevard- Marlborough. I will send to other Target . Computer showed up said must sell by Sunday August 5th 2018 Cashier and manger told me that policy must follow date to selling not before date. It was mistake. They are friendly and offered us. Hold the toy. It was name and phone labeled on the toy. Toy hold at front customer service desk. No problem. We agreed. Next Sunday August 5th 2018, We went to customer service desk. We told them about toy. We not understand communication with staff. We are hearing impaired. We asked write the paper. Staff refused and show their read lips. We not able read their lips. We not understand. We wrote the paper and explained about the toy. Staff not friendly, not good attitude and keep going on their read lips. We still not understand. We decided better leave and let go peace. We are looking and found the toy where return on the shelve. We bought it. We decided not back to the Target store anymore.
