Hey Kiddo’s Playtime — Local services in Berlin

I want to start off by saying - this place was absolutely beautiful, clean, fun and perfect for the kids. I would highly recommend it to anyone to come here for the day but would absolutely NEVER recommend anyone throwing a birthday party here.

I bought a package for 12 kids. We were told that we have two hours in total and only 10 minutes of set up time for any decorations etc. With that being said I only brought in very minimal decorations for the room because I knew it would be a rushed process however the room next to me had a huge extravagant paw patrol theme that was beautifully decorated, and I could tell that that party had way more than 10 minutes to set up. First off when we arrived, a lot of people had a hard time finding exactly where it was located in the mall given that we are not from the area. We walked in and had zero help from any staff on finding the room, etc. We felt extremely rushed and they were SO strict about the amount of play time we had. By the time everyone found the room, where to go, and what to do - the kids had about 35-40 minutes left of play time. We saw about 2 staff members the entire time including the person who came to pass out the dry barely warm pizza. No one came to help cut the cake, give us a lighter….. nothing. The service was horrible. At the end of the party I was so dissapointed and unsatisfied. The toddlers didn’t want to be in the room for an hour and barely touched the pizza or anything. They wanted to go out and play again but of course we had to follow the time guidelines that they are extremely strict with. At the end I go to pay for the remaining balance and they added on a 20% gratuity fee that came out of left field as a “service fee”. I didn’t expect to have to spend almost an extra $200. It felt like they were so money hungry and it was extremely rude considering they never talked about that being an additional charge in the contract. I’ve hosted parties at many places and have never been charged a gratuity especially considering we barely had any help or service from anyone our entire stay. I paid just under $800 and it was a huge waste of money.

I personally called to speak to a manager and I kindly explained our experience. I’m not looking for anything but something would have been nice considering how much money we wasted. He basically said “thanks for the feedback we are new and learning” and that...

I was with a party here and as much as it's a cool place, the TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and ridiculous amount of money they charge for everything BAAARELY make up for it. As much as it could be a great place for a party, it's not ... very "regretfully" and unfortunately. As much as I was looking forward to the party, I was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.

If you want to WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON A PARTY THAT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE, come here! If you want to be DISRESPECTED BY THE WORKERS AND OWNERS, come here! If you want to be DISAPPOINTED, come here! If you want to be SCAMMED BY FALSE ADVERTISING, come here! If you want to SUPPORT A TERRIBLE BUSINESS AND PEOPLE, come here! If you want to HAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY PLAYED WITH, come here! This is the perfect place for all this! This place is the definition of all this - just CRAZY, DISRESPECTFUL, AND DISGUSTING ... especially for LAUGHING IN OUR FACES WHILE WE WERE THERE!

I definitely won't go back to this place for a party. I probably won't ever go back, period. I definitely won't recommend this place to anybody either.

You'll probably be better off TAKING YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. Having a party here is NOT WORTH IT. And their responses back to other reviews from people at this party just show how much they DIDN'T CARE TO MAKE THINGS BETTER for their VALUABLE, PAYING CUSTOMERS while we were there ... no matter how much they try to make it seem this way. And the OTHER DISSATISIFED PARTIES BEFORE AND AFTER ours just go to show it's their LAME EFFORTS that are making people RUN AWAY FROM THEIR BUSINESS. You would think they would care about this. Reason for one star is, my wife and I inquired about having our 3 year old daughter’s birthday party here. When we inquired we were told there was no themes ( even though advertised on website ) was told we were only allowed to come in ten mins early to set up decorations. When we got there we got zero help from any staff in setting up. Instead I got “ you better hurry up or you’re gonna lose your time here “ ( from the owner ) when we inquired we were also told we would have a host the entire time ( no host at all ) we were told they would take care of setting up, which they did not, we set everything up in a rush because they were so strict on the time even though there was not a party after us. Part of the package was 5 large pizzas. Never saw any boxes as they cut the pizza for you. We had 14 kids 22 adults majority of adults did not eat because it seemed like there was not enough pizza. We had zero help cutting the cake or passing out the cake to our guests and children, we did it all. When I went to pay my balance the owner told me I needed to clean the room first to make sure everything is back to the way it was, than she would sit down with me and go over the receipt. So I my self my mother and one of my wife’s friends cleaned the entire room And threw all the trash away ourselves. Was charged a $159.40 “service fee “ when we received 0 service. I’ve attended several other parties at other establishments as well as hosted events at other establishments and have never been treated so poorly.
