I enjoyed this facility and fits well into the community. I would recommend this for any family wanting to watch the new movies in cinemas around the world. Restrooms seemed clean and staff was very respectful. Food is expensive but averages to be the same as most theaters in the area. Usually not to busy but seating is usually not to hard to find even on the busiest of evenings. I would recommend going in the day time if you have kids because of it being less busy. Movies during the day time are about 2-3 dollars cheaper than going to a movie at night. Great place to go on a date and i would recommend going to this theater before making the trip to Ames or Des Moines. I would say this theater is up to date considering the loacation and population. Is also connected to the mall and gives way for shopping as well as just going to...
Read moreThe staff here has been consistently rude. During the last Marvel movie I attended here, a staff custodian was standing in front of me, cleaning, during the closing sequence. Any one that has been to a Marvel movie knows they give you a cookie at the very end. If I had any popcorn left at this point I would have dumped it on the floor in front of him. The time before that they ended The Hobbit before the end of the movie, seriously! Sure I got free tickets for that one, but it is entirely beside the point. In general the theater is nice although some of the projectors have blurry edges. If your going to spend $40-95 to see a movie, head to the Ankeny branch, all the theaters have stadium seating and the staff is much more professional. It will be a cold day before I set foot in this...
Read moreTook my 3yo to see Raya and the Last Dragon and it was a very nice outing. Good COVID practices including marked off and well divided seating, masks everywhere except when in your seat and employees walked you to your seat and then marked a chart. I'm guessing they do this to know what areas needed to be wiped down. Bathroom was clean and I'm always thankful for that when I take my young one to any establishment. Only drawback was the cost. $30 for a matinee and snacks for one adult and a toddler seemed a little steep, but also not different from any...
