Burger King — Restaurant in Marshalltown

This morning Oct 10, 2023 at 7:26 am I ordered 4 sausage egg and cheese croissants. I was the only one in the drive-thru and the parking lot was clear. I had to wait a minute or two to order no problem. I paid for my order. The lady that received my money was kind. So as I proceeded to the next window the lady in that window was the rudest ever! She opened the window forcefully handed me my bag and said here you go she slammed the window and walked away. I didn't get asked if I needed anything else in which I did. I needed some jelly and napkins. I blew the horn to get her attention. No one came to the window. Unfortunately I had to be at work so I didn't have time to park my car and go inside in which I shouldn't have had to. This was my first time visiting this town and if I come back here I will never go to this fast food restaurant again. It's just really sad because Burger King is one of my favorite...

It was a rough day for this franchise when we stopped over the noon hour for a couple of Whopper meals last weekend. Facility was understaffed and not everyone knew how to serve coffee which was lukewarm after sitting in a carafe. They offered to brew fresh, which was appreciated. We were there for 25 minutes from the time we walked in to the time we left, which is atypical. Staff friendly enough, and could benefit from employing basic food service safety practices such as not touching the inside of a cup from which the customer will be drinking . . . I politely declined to accept that cup and selected a cup from the stack (which hopefully had not fallen and rolled about on the floor. Former fast food worker here) The whole world is understaffed, I realize. Just...

I've been here twice this week.

The first time was drive through during lunch hour. The line was moving fast, and I was able to get my food very quickly. Faster than some of the other places in town, and the person at the window was pleasant and friendly.

The second time I went inside to order around dinner time. The cashier was new, but was very nice and friendly. She was a little overwhelmed by the line of people, but she did great at keeping the line informed and apologized for the wait.

The food both times was hot and made as ordered. We ordered small whopper meals the first time, and whoppers with a shake to share the second time. We enjoyed the food, and will be going...
