This place is always a little treat when we come to Marshfield. We enjoy just browsing apparently endless bookshelves. The store front is deceiving, this place is large and goes far back. It has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere about it. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. She seems to have read most of her stock so she has been a great help when picking out books. My kids love to come here and pet the bookstore cat. She is old cat that just loves to snuggle up on you. The prices are pretty fair and cant ask for much better. We live in Wisconsin Rapids, where there's no local bookstore, so it's always a treat to visit Marshfield and stop at Thimbleberry Books. The place is huge, and they have an amazing selection. I always leave with at least 2 or 3 books. All the books are used but in excellent condition, which means prices are lower than at many other stores. The employees are both friendly and helpful, and -- most importantly -- they have friendly bookstore cats....

I went here for the first time today, and honestly, I was surprised. The atmosphere was very cozy and mysterious, perfect for looking for books. There was also a large selection of books there. I kept walking and the store just kept going on. Things were labeled well and the prices were fair. Also, there was a cute cat curled up on a chair, adorable! I definitely plan on returning to this store...
