
I joined the gym in June 2020 when they had the free payment month going on. I already lost quite a bit of weight which I’m not overweight and I’ve been taking a hemp seed pill. I was just looking to tone my body up and extra motivation since I was working out at home but I wasn’t putting in much effort into the workouts.
I enjoy mostly the classes. Right now I have been going to tami winstons body tone class and I love it. I sweat more than I did when I was working out at home. I even try to catch her real quick after class and get fitness and health tips. I like how in the class if your not doing a move the right way she will show you how to do it. I know one time my back started hurting while doing kettle bell swings and I told her about it and she showed me a different way to do it without it hurting. I use to run on treadmill because she had everyone run around rural king parking lot but now I’m out there with them running too.
Another class I take is refit with amy. I didn’t know it was a dance class until my first day when a lady in class told me. Her dance moves are not that hard at all. I was actually able to catch up very quickly as I continued to come. Amy sure does have some strong legs when it comes down to some dance moves we do and her energy always stays high which I like. That’s motivation for me right there!
I have noticed some muscles on my body start to change such as my arms seemed to be getting more definition which I do work at a factory so that could be helping as well. My underarm fat is starting to fade away some, my belly has been staying somewhat slim eventhough I’m still working on that. My legs were already muscular but now they are getting slightly better.
By far those are my favorite classes to go to. I still have some work in progress to be done and hope by continuing to go to fitness 1440 I will see the improvements on my body...
Read moreI have battled with obesity since I started having kids 17 years ago, and every time I went to work out at a gym I always felt so ashamed.. UNTIL I came here. I have never been to a gym that had staff who were so welcoming, inviting, and kind! I feel like a part of the “fitness family” when I come into the gym, because everyone says hello, asks me how I’m doing , and if they see you working your tail off, they give you great feedback and encouragement. RItchie is super kind, Tami is not only an amazing trainer but she is also kind and cares about the people she works with. Every lady that works the desk is extremely personable and sweet!
THE SHAKES ARE AH-MAY-ZING!!!!!
I’ve tried almost every single fitness/health shake there is in this town ... from every place That offers them.. and 1440 is the BEST. Even if I didn’t have a membership I’d try and come but a shake daily!!
I’ve been a member since January, but I have been going consistently for the last two months and I have nothing but great things to say!
They definitely have something for everyone, from cable machines, free weights to fitness classes for every level!!
The equipment is SUPER CLEAN and in immaculate condition!
AND ... last but not least ... it’s SO much more affordable than other places around to add your family members/fiancé etc.

While I enjoyed the small-town atmosphere and nature, I unfortunately had a disappointing experience at a local gym. After researching area gyms, I noticed this particular one offered a three-day pass, so I signed up to maintain my daily workout routine.
Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by a young lady at the front desk who made the sign-up process simple and pleasant. However, during my workout, I was approached by someone who I believe was the owner. Though he didn’t introduce himself, he began asking me questions, implying that I might be a student at the local university and claiming he had seen me before. He also mentioned that the three-day pass is typically reserved for individuals intending to join the gym. I had already informed the front desk staff that I was only visiting family, and she assured me that it wasn’t an issue.
Unfortunately, this encounter felt like an unnecessary interrogation based on incorrect assumptions. While I was able to complete my workout, this experience left me with no desire to return to the gym...
