IT WAS A OLD WHITE MAN HEAVY BUILD, I AM GUESSING LOST PREVENTION.TOP FLIGHT SECURITY OF THE STORE.. LOL!!! HE FOLLOWED US EVERYWHERE WE WENT IN THE STORE. I FIRST WANTED TO LEAVE BUT I WAS DETERMINED TO BE THE,BIGGER PERSON . WE CONTINUED TO SHOP .SPENT OVER 400.00 IN THIS STORE. WE LAUGHED BECAUSE FOR ONE WAS IT BECAUSE WE ARE BLACK AND THE ONLY BLACK PEOPLE IN THE STORE, OTHER THAN A CASHIER.NOT SURE WHAT OTHER REASON IT COULD BE. THIS WAS TERROBLE. MY HUSBAND IS A 14 YEAR POLICE OFFICE AND I WORK FOR THE COURT SYSTEM AND SCHOOL SYSTEM . BUT NOT ONLY THAT JUST BECAUSE WE ARE BLACK WE DON'T STEAL. Read moreI was in Rural King yesterday and purchased 3 bags of potting soil (on sale 6.99 each) and 2 hanging plants 9.99 each (also on sale) and was charged $61.00. I noticed after getting home back to Jackson. I called the store and spoke to Courtney (manager in front of store) and explained my issue. I was charged 9.99 for one of my hanging baskets and 24.99 for the other. Both on sale according to sign outside. Courtney stated others had complained of the same issue and evidently the flowers were placed in the wrong section. (Not my problem) she said I would have to come back and bring my flowers to get reimbursed. Explained I lived over an hour away and only come every other week for feed but could come this next weekend to get my money back. Courtney stated she could not honor my refund if I waited a week. I asked to speak to a manager and she stated she was the manager in the front of the store. If this is the type of customer service representing your store I choose not to do business here. Read moreShopping was good . Got some pretty decent deals. Staff was pretty helpful about point me in the right direction for the things I was interested in. Then check out time. Course it's Saturday I mean the place is packed every line is full. So this older gentleman was in front of me and it was his turn at the register. So he has a roll of wire with no price on it. So instead of the lady at the register directing him to customer service she takes it upon herself to look up prices in to find this item. She calls this person she calls that person she's looking through books so 30 minutes has gone by. And all the while they'll open up another line and say no waiting. Of course everyone runs to that one so I'm stuck there to for 30 minutes missing a very important meeting. And I'm renting a little bit mostly venting. Anyway that experience really sucked, all my savings went out with the business appointment not missed. Screw trying to get a deal it's not worth-it time is too precious.
