Well, I don't leave reviews very often! But the level of detail and care that went into my street glide has been nothing but amazing. I met Deb and Steve years ago when they had their Everett location. They did some Custom work for me, then that was some great work on my truck. But the work they did on my street glide was second to none from installing my lights. To the custom carpet install Deb did in my saddle bags, the wires that were tucked and hidden to the detail under the front fairing made sure every wire grouping was clean and neat with custom wrap The install detail on all the speakers amps DSP and stereo were absolutely top notch. Now, here is a detail that i have to talk about. I am a very picky inspector in my profession so when im looking at this work they did for me and all the work ive seen them do while I've been in there shop has been nothing but amazing. Again, im very picky about my bike and how she is handled, so when i say they took every step to make sure she was taken care of. i mean it. Every piece was taken on and off set a side. Very CAREFULLY set a side while the work was being completed. I had some custom bags fender side covers designed and needed some good sound advice on what my best options were as i didn't have a lot of room under my fairing and wasn't sure that it could be done. Sure, enough, their skills shine when there is a challenge. They went above and beyond my expectations. Ive spent alot of time in there shop in the past as i like to learn and like to see the work being done to my rigs and most of all my Custom street glide she is my baby after all, so seeing how clean and orginized there shop is makes it even a better option to me because i dont want my bike worked on in a environment that is going to allow damage to my glide. I could go on and on, but really, I absolutely love This Sound Advice shop, and im sure you will too. Do yourself a favor if your ride and sound system is as important to you as it is for me. Call Steve and Deb at Sound Advice because this is the best Sound Advice you can get. And remember, they do everything from Custom Boat's, RV's, Classic cars, Harley Davidson, and everything in between. dont trust anyone else...
Read moreI took my car into Sound Advice for a quote on an insurance claim, Steve was very up front with his quote and explained it to me in detail what the quote entailed. He also explained what was going to be done to the car ahead of time so I knew what to expect, and even asked me if there was anything else that I might want done to the car while its stripped apart that may save me labor costs down the road. Sound Advice’s quote was given to the insurance (only to find out the insurance company has a business they deal with in audio for all their parts and they would have to supply them). Sound Advice agreed to do all the labor and custom fabrication work and installation. The work they performed was over the top clean, professional, and 100% Class! Down to every last detail, they went above and beyond and were very easy to work with considering the car also had to have repairs at other shops as well, and they worked the schedule accordingly. The craftsmanship and attention to detail they put into the car is 100% classy and professional, I couldn’t be happier. In fact the fabrication work exceeded in quality and style what we originally started with. Sound Advice carries many quality brands on the showroom for all budgets in mind, and has some very nice higher-end audio equipment as well, they know their product and are very accommodating to the customer’s style and needs. I’ve been to a lot of audio shops over the years with many cars and most of them treat you like a number and a dollar amount, the installation and work in most cases is sub-par, but that’s what you get with all these “Pre-Fab” Cookie cutter shops. In the end I couldn’t be happier, the whole experience was great and I met new friends and was treated very well and I felt they really listened to what I wanted to do, and then made it happen, in fact the quote they provided even came in lower than what the insurance company ended up paying using their own supplier, They are very fair and honest, as well as Up-Front and no “surprises”, the delivered what I needed and couldn’t have done it better…. Read moreIf you are part of the population that does NOT know about Car Stereo, the staff at Sound Advice is very helpful in understanding how things work.....HOWEVER, this place tries to nickle and dime you!! If you like your money and want the best price around town, this is not the place you want to go. If you have expendable funds, and don't care that you overpaid for your car stereo, then by all means, this is the place for you!
I recently went in to their store to discuss pricing on installing a head unit (which I already purchased) and wiring an AMP for a sub (which I also already had in my possession). The "installer" stated that it would be around $400 for them to install the parts and that I would need extra parts to do so. So I asked, what other parts are needed?!?! Their response was, "a head unit harness (which I already had), a "sub" harness (this does not exist), a remote wire and antenna harness (again, some fake object not needed for installing a head unit), a wiring kit (which is what I need for the Sub), and finally a mounting plate for the head unit (again, does not exist). Per their quote, all this was required for install and NOT included in the $400 price tag...so I left.
I went down the street to SS Bargain Audio and requested the same work quote...$200 flat rate and it included the wiring kit (1000 Watt), an auxiliary input and the actual harness's needed for the install.
Nothing says overpriced like Sound Advice and I will never step foot in their shop again.
Thanks for reading...maybe they will treat you...
