We have eaten here more than a handful of times due to the fact that our kids love buffets, but due to our last visit this will surely be the last time. Food is poorly stocked, you will never see a whole new tray come out. Only maybe half of a tray poured into the same dirty tray that has been sitting out. Sushi area is never full and you should question how long it’s been sitting there. The dining area, floor, and bathroom have never been maintained to any exceptional standard every time we’ve been here. Service is inconsistent. I have found the women to be the most helpful of them all, but the men are another story. We didn’t get drinks until about a half hour in, one of our kids asked for a lemonade which he proceeded to tell her they didn’t have (even though she’s gotten lemonade before) and magically appeared with a lemonade a half hour later. Dishes were not picked up frequently enough from the table despite not being a full house. Then he failed to ask the kids their ages and charged them both as adults (they’re 9 and 11 and have always been charged as such). While ringing us out he had the audacity to ask where the tip was and if I left it on the table. You provided a terrible service, an unexceptional dining experience, and overcharged our kids. You made your money, you are not entitled to the tip you haven’t earned if you cannot even get to the basics. I hope the extra few dollars you made off of us was worth it because our business is now spent elsewhere. The only plus side of this place was the price, but it is not enough to outweigh all of...

This is not the best Chinese buffet I've been to, and certainly not the best Chinese food I have had. However, for the price, it does provide a good value. It is also conveniently located near my home.
There is a decent variety of food, although much of the meat is overcooked, dry and tough. I prefer going during a busy time so I know the food is fresh, but I still steer clear of the sushi.
Our hostess was very friendly, but I had to find someone to ask to get my water refilled. Plates were taken from the table relatively fast. The booth that we were sitting at had cushions that had been worn flat, and would greatly benefit from a re-stuffing.
If I want a higher quality of Chinese buffet locally, I will head to the Eagle's Buffet at the Tulalip Casino. They have a small selection of Chinese food, but the quality is much better. The prices are also almost 50% higher. If I don't mind traveling, I would go to the Harbor Buffet in Lynnwood, where the selection and quality are much better. However, the prices are once again higher.
For the quality and selection of food, the Grand Buffet is a pretty good value. They have a good selection of shrimp and seafood dishes along with the standard chicken and beef dishes. It is a good place to satisfy your Chinese food craving without...
Read moreI ate there for the first time after King Buffet (previous name. different owner?) closed down. Unfortunately I was the last customer, it was 8:55 when we started eating; the sign said it closed at 9:30 p.m. We finally finished after being asked if we were done for the 5th or 6th time. The food was okay and there was far less to choose from because we were last This was all understandable. Where they rubbed me wrong was how they treated my friend. We paid ahead, we were cordial and respectful. What we got in return was the owner (female) and presumably family members staring at my friend like he was some sort of exhibit for their amusement. I honestly didn't know until I sat on his side after he told me he was going to be nice this time and just leave. They were gossiping rudely by their gestures, smiling and jeering, and staring at him because he was of African descent. Extremely rude... I'lll never go there again and I'll be sure to let others know. Also, by their physical attributes and mannerism, I'd like to add, they were far closer to a Barnum and Bailey oddity then my guest. People like that shouldn't be throwing stones. It would be a damned shame for any man to take any of those rude, jeering, banana legged, money grubbing women home decent folk. They were akin to malevalent hyenas that had too many bad days at...
