My bf and I just moved here from LA where the Mexican food places are endless. We decided to try this place and Iām kind of disappointed. The customer service was fine we placed our order over the phone for pickup which went smoothly. However, Iām upset my order didnāt come with everything it was supposed to. My bf enjoyed his burrito. I ordered 2 asada tacos and an asada super quesadilla but there was nothing āsuperā about it. The tacos and quesadilla were supposed to come with pico de Gallo which they didnāt. Instead I received a quesadilla with just cheese and meat they should get rid of the superā¦is it bc I ordered online they didnāt feel the need to garnish my meal properly? If so, thatās dumb. I spent a total of $32 and some change and it just wasnāt worth it to me. The flavor of the quesadilla was good and their red salsa is delicious. The tacos I couldāve done without; I didnāt care for the shells and they were dry looking. They also didnāt give us salsa and my bf had to go back inside to get some. Had it not been for that my tacos wouldāve been dry especially since they didnāt give me the pico de Gallo they claimed came on it. I most likely will not be coming here again and if I do Iāll definitely give them a harder time about making sure my order...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wish there were a way to give them a zero-star rating. I bought a carne asada burrito, believing that the prices on the menu were accurate. However, when I received my bill, it was higher than what was advertised. I asked the cashier about it, and she said there had been a mistake and that she would fix it. A few minutes later, the manager came out to clarify that my receipt had the correct prices and that the menu needed to be updated. He kept insisting that food prices keep going up, but I told him that the menu needs to reflect those changes.
I chose this restaurant because of their low prices, and there are many other options available. I only picked this place because of its affordability. I asked for a refund, and he said he would process it, but then he never did. Once I handed him my receipt, he just closed the window. Frustrated, I decided that would be my last visit. Itās been a few years since then. Thanks to California Burritos and other similar chains, I can now enjoy large, authentic Mexican burritos at a good price without having to come...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAmazing authentic, down and dirty Mexican. While this is a small chain of nine locations, it is impressive food; at least at this location. I had a chile relleno and the poblano chile had a little fire and great Mexican cheese inside. The chile sauce, served on top, is homemade and tasted heavenly. I had a lingua (tongue), taco. The meat was shredded and came with a little green salsa on top and a double corn tortilla, just as it should be. It was very good. I also got the chicken tamale plate and ate a little of the tamale. It was just right. Beans and rice were good and made just as they should be, which means they are nothing to write home about, but lousy if not cooked right, old, dry or soupy. The restaurant is very open, with huge panes of glass all around. They serve beer, but no wine. I asked about bringing in wine and the manager could not answer me. He said he had to ask the "big man". This place has little ambience. A soccer match was on the TV. Still, if you like good Mexican food, it is worth...
