If you are not served/helped/ drink made by the owner with dark hair, then stay away from this place at all costs. It's a cute and home like setting, and you can tell she invested a good amount making it a great spot.. But the people she hires will affect her business in the long run. Such a shame. Kids love it here and one of the only shops that offer dairy free- even though it's just 1 flavor- pineapple. I am someone who gets espresso or lotus everyday, sometimes twice a day. Every time I have came in I have not had a good experience and it's really sad because the owner always has a smile on her face and is kind when she is there and takes my order. I will write off some of the attitude from the young employees. She hires younger ladies. I understand they are learning... but at some point continual bad attitude and manners to your customers that are making your business flourish, has got to be enough. They should be learning from their mistakes, not continuing to do it, because this really will hurt your business in the long run by keeping them part of your business. I am updating my review from several years ago from a 3 down to a 1. Every time I go in I hope for the owner... and 9 times out of 10 she is not there. After all of my bad experiences and looking the other way and being forgiving, I am done with this business and wish the owner well. From really bad drinks and not following basic and simple instructions, to being laughed at, to get eye rolls, to be made felt like a burden for asking a question about a bakery item on display and getting blunt and and rude tone answers, no acknowledgment of entry to shop, stand in line for up to 15 minutes on a bad day.. THEN to be asked for a tip after all of that???? All of these incidents were not just one visit. It is EVERY visit I have made where the owner is NOT present. My most recent visit was not a teenager, but maybe a lady in her 40s, very disrespectful, and treated me like an idiot. I hate having to write this, but it's a fair and honest review on all my...
Read moreI dont even know where to begin! To walk in to a case of beautiful baked from scratch goodness, most being gluten free. An open cafe seating area with a commanding fireplace and huge windows letting so much natural light in. High top, low top, couches, large pinic-esque tables in the back seating area, seating options galore. Small merch areas along the walls. Candles, decor items, some glassware, and textiles.
I came in wanting a good Chai latte and a savory baked anything - I got that and more! I was offered the option of a powdered base or liquid based Chai and chose the powdered base having never heard of it. Consider me in love! I appreciated being offered a choice and it was made to perfection! The GF jalepeño and cream cheese biscuit was densely fluffy and perfectly balanced with flavor. Ugh, I'll be dreaming of this biscuit for awhile. I didn't even realize the froyo wall and bar until I took the corner to pay - WOW! Seven froyo flavors I could see and TONS of toppings. I'll definitely need to bring the rest of the fam here.
Grabbed a GF lemon and blueberry scone to go, making that, the savory biscuit and 16oz Chai all just under $20 ($6-7 per baked item). I'll gladly pay these prices for quality scratch and gluten free goods from a local small business who has created such an inviting spot! Staff was great and kept busy even...
Read moreIâm so happy I found the Creamery when I moved to Marysville last yearâIâve been back countless times since! Itâs the perfect spot for meeting clients, catching up with friends, or just grabbing a coffee before heading to Boss Nails. Their pastries are absolutely irresistibleâI always plan to grab one but end up leaving with at least three! The owners clearly pour their passion into everything they create, and it shows. The pastries and food items arenât just delicious; theyâre also beautifully crafted and change with the seasons, from spring themes to back-to-school or holiday treats.
Beyond the bakery, the Creamery is a hub of creativity. They have a fun gift shop featuring local businesses and artists, which makes it easy to find unique treasures while supporting the community. And letâs not forget their frozen yogurt barâso much fun to create your own dessert masterpiece with all the toppings you could dream of!
The space is open and welcoming, and the baristas and staff are always friendly and smiling. The owners are equally wonderfulâkind, jovial, and clearly passionate about what they do. Whether youâre grabbing a perfectly crafted espresso, a refreshing lotus drink, or a specialty tea, everything at the Creamery is top-notch. I canât recommend it enoughâhope everyone gets the chance to...
