Ordered a pair of brake pads from here yesterday and paid for same day delivery. Order wasn’t suppose to ship out until 6:00. Order ended up shipping out at 1:30pm, not the issue but no one notified me that the order was delivered other than an email advising it was delivered, no tracking link or anything. I called my boyfriend and told him that they were delivered and they should be on the porch, but they weren’t. So I called the store and spoke with James (whom by the way was very rude) and he advised that the package was delivered to the address I provided but some lady has them and she called and advised she had them and she did not know who I was. My house is a two family and we are very close with our neighbors who know me so if they were to receive them ( which they did not) they would’ve have known they were mine and would not have called, so there is NO WAY they were delivered to the right house. The store failed to get any contact information from the women who now has one of the most important parts that I need for my vehicle, and then proceeds to tell me “ it’s not his problem and I need to call corporate”. Not only would they not accept any responsibility , James proceeds to tell me I typed in the wrong address when I know my address very well considering I’ve been living here an year and I order packages all the time so it’s not my first rodeo. Read moreWent into this location on Thanksgiving Day for an alternator and battery for my kid's 2003 Toyota Camry, thinking this was the problem. While in the store, one of the other employees overheard my conversation with the employee checking me out. He was polite and offered up the suggestion of checking the connection(s) at the starter before replacing the parts I purchased. Being open minded, I thanked him for the suggestion. After Thanksgiving was over, I went in the garage and tried what the AutoZone employee mentioned before I replaced the parts I purchased. He was 100% correct. The power wire on the starter was not only loose, but it was crusty. Wire brushed the terminal, added some blue Loctite and tightened it back up. Car started right up like it was new! Very grateful for this employee's advice and professionalism. Was able to return the unused parts with NO hassle, no questions, just a thank you. EVERYONE working on Thanksgiving Day in this location was AWESOME! All positive people, happy to help people in lieu of it being a holiday. Read moreI was visiting my daughter and her family in Mason and my grandson called his Mom in a panic and said his car was not accelerating and shifting weird and probably couldn't get home. I went to look at the car and asked him where the nearest Auto Zone was. He looked on his phone and said 7 minutes away. I told him they would be able to use their diagnostic reader and lets us know what the issue is and we could purchase a needed part and fix it. Garrette, at Auto Zone, literally saved the day. He read the codes, new the issue right away, throttle body carbon crud, and proceeded to resolve it. I tried to pay for his help and he wouldn't hear of it. We didn't know how to thank him enough. This is the 2nd time Auto Zone has saved us in an emergency situation in the last couple of years. The last was a battery replacement with the help of diagnostic tools and they installed it for us. This is why the first thing I said to my grandson was, "where is the nearest Auto Zone?" I hope Garrette is rewarded for his knowledge and that kind of customer satisfaction.
