If I could leave zero stars I would. When purchasing the two dresses that I bought on Monday, I asked the young lady at checkout if I would be able to return them since she stated they were both 50% off she said absolutely within seven days and after that store credit, I was also asking due to the fact that I could not see a sign anywhere that said a return policy! Which is kind of bad business in the first place I should’ve known. When trying to return the dresses with receipt today the cashier told me I couldn’t because all sales were final like it says on the receipt. Never noticed that before but had already made the purchase before getting the receipt that said all sales final on anything on sale. Do you see my dilemma here how do you tell me in writing your policy after I’ve made the purchase! I asked to see the manager she went to go get him. I’m on my lunch. She took a very long time trying to get him. They had several other people trying to check out at the same time she made us all wait she finally came back upfront and stated the manager is with his baby. What!? Do you still need to see him? She said snarky I said yes I do if he is the manager, she said While shaking her neck at me, he is holding his sleeping baby, are You really wanting me to wake a sleeping baby just so he can speak to you!? Trying to shame me I said never mind and walked out. I will never be back again, but I will be speaking to...
Read moreI will only return to the Charlotte store because the smart alec young man at the counter told me he didn't typically work at that store. I returned a pair of Jack Rogers that had been glued together at the toe, obviously they broke the first time I wore them. This was not a case of me changing my mind, I was sold shoes that had been glued back together. The young man told me he could only give me a store credit because that was their policy. I asked if it was their policy to sell shoes that had been glued back together ? I felt like this was a different situation than me changing my mind and bringing shoes back. He told me that if I didn't like their policy, I didn't have to shop with them, a totally insulate young man. I asked to speak with the manager, he told me he wasn't available and even if I did talk with him, he was his brother and would tell me the same thing . As I walked out of the store he yelled very sarcastically , " Have a nice day ma'am " I promptly called their corporate office and talked to Judy in customer service. She was very helpful and said that is not their business model and was horrified when I shared my story. As I said when I started this review, I will return because of Judys help and because apparently the insulate young man doesn't typically work at this store. I will however inspect very carefully anything I buy there for any...
Read moreBuyers Beware and Read ALL negative posts! Poor ownership and corporate ownership. I purchased a pair of used shoes and the associate told my husband that the return policy was 7 days full refund or 30 day exchange my husband said what a friendly return policy. My husband and I both purchased a pair and I’ve purchased 5 pair from the store. I got the pair home wore them around the house. I have many same brand. They squeak and something is wrong on the inside cushion of the shoe. I went to exchange them for the other pair I was considering. A different associates was working and they said because they were worn and the white marking came off I couldn’t return or exchange them. Huh...wait the girl last week said 7 days full refund. They pointed me to the “fine print” markings must be on bottom of the shoe....but the marking was white on a black soft sole...like you would expect the white to stay on? Misrepresentation of their policy and directing to a fine print lead to being stuck with a defective shoe. This is not a company that can be trusted. Buy from an authorized retailer or on line. The prices are about the same and they stand behind their policy...
