I would like to say this I came to target once in a blue moon .When I need fashionable ideas or to come get something quick if I short on cash with a deal .Long story short I meet this great soul Melissa as a co worker told before she took me home she had to go target .After we got off work I said sure well you know you never know who god places in your path .I also work in retail so I went down my favorite alley for heat protection product that 7.59 .I was thinking of flat iron my hair creams of nature oil spray protects since it a very hard product to find anyway especially the beauty supply store I checked and drug store and grocery store .The bottle small but when I get it I try to buy two well they had zero I tried other for shine without success .So I asked Melissa where the creme of nature she looked on the phone for me and felt my pain .as we joked and laughed and her co worker as well I didn’t get her name but she was great also so she told me it the area being reset which I knew the language .Anyway I felt disappointed and told her I would tell corporate to have more this product .I told Melissa she truthful made this quick experience fun .I need some vitamin anyway and I forgot to use my cartwheel my co worker was like where the 15% which i asked the guy in that area he told me I forgot to add so .I found Melissa and explained once again she was awesome she walked me threw I have so many apps it crazy and she told me go to customer service watch this now I blessed another associate at the service will good energy .My point this all those people I come into contact with especially Melissa should receive some type of target gift card or whatever your business rewards system .I told Melissa she the best I ever dealt with yes I will be coming back to shop and congrats on your blessing you truly a special woman .Just because of you I will be coming back to shop I will be calling corporate and the store manager in a few days to see what they done for this special employees thank you happy new...
Read moreI dont usually go to this target, as there are 3 that are closer to me, but we wanted to go ti 5 below as well which is nearby so we went out of our way to try a new target.
At first glance, I thought we were in for a treat, as the store had a more modern layout than those closer, indicating it had been renovated more recently than my usual locations. Little did I know this was going to be the most misleading retail experience of my life thus far.
First stop, went to get face wash. I get a very basic type of face wash, and am happy with the name brand but prefer the target brand/generic version to save money. Turns out this store was completely out of both except a singular bottle of the name brand, which had exploded at some point, being caked in the face wash gunk. It was clear this hadn't happened recently as all the gunk was then caked in dust, hairs, and other debris, leaving one to insinuate this target was refusing to exert the small amount of effort to remove a clearly defective and disgusting item. This was the only item I "needed" the rest of the plan was just to browse, but i wish I had turned around and left instead.
We then proceeded to browse, and I shit you not we seemed to find an empty soda can or food item trash in probably 75% of the aisles we browsed.
Finally we head to check out after being disgusted and just wanting to get out as soon as possible and every single uscan was completely out of bags other than reusable ones to buy. Unsure if this is a new target policy or something but the targets near me have all had bags in the past week so if it is target policy its literally brand new in the last 48 hours since I last was at a target. When I audibly commented about the lack of bags, turning around to face the scan employee, an older lady, she pretended not to hear me and walked away from the registers entirely as if running from customers.
I'd give this store a zero if possible. This target was more trashy than any Walmart ive ever...
Read moreI frequent this Target often and usually I have pretty good experience but my last few were unfortunately awful. The most recent one left me extremely upset. While checking out at self check out there was an extremely long line however it moved pretty quickly. The young lady overseeing it was being extremely helpful with everyone there and cleaning off the stations which was great. I always actually see her working hard! I had a few items that when I scanned in the app showed cheaper than what they were ringing up for. She verified the amounts and adjusted the prices for me accordingly which was great! I had to make two separate purchases because one was for my niece and the other was for myself. So we were in self check out probably about 15/20 minutes. Anyhow the register froze after the first purchase so I moved to the next register and proceeded to make my final purchase. I finish and my daughter asks why is the security Lady just staring at us. I look up and see people proceed to leave and she asks if she can take the cart from them as they leave the store. I proceed to put my Debit card up in my wallet and load my cart up with my purchases. As I begin to walk out, she stops me and requests to see my receipt. Now I’m irritated - I say excuse me??? And she says it again. So I show her the receipt and she asks to see the other one too. So I show it to her and she’s like “ok”. We leave. My daughter asks me is it because we are black ... how do you explain to a child who watched many people walk out the store and not be stopped but as soon as we get ready to leave - she stops us. Mind you, we had an employee helping us during the majority of our purchase so what reason did you have to stop us and ask to see our receipt?! I will not be going back to...
