We booked the 5hr snorkel tour on the Lani Kai with the Big Inflatable Slide 11/14/21. It wasn’t the biggest boat at the docks but it definitely didn’t disappoint us. The weather was warm, it drizzled a few times while we were on the calm water and overcast skies– probably some of the best conditions, not to get sunburned and so bright with the sun reflecting off the water. The morning started off with rain but as day broke, we loaded the boat and the rain stopped. Before we left the dock, they asked if anyone would be interested in SNUBA. Its’ basically scuba diving with a 15 ft down limitation & you’re connected to air tanks on a raft at the surface, that travel with you as you explore beneath the surface. We listened to Layna explain the process, safety protocols and hand signals; never doing it before ~ what better place to see what’s under the water than in Maui ?!@#. It was extra $ but WELL WORTH The Unforgettable Experience ! To see all of the different fish, sea urchants, turtles & swimming between walls of coral~ it was Gorgeous and the fear of being down there had dissipated 😊especially after seeing a shark navigating the floor below us. It was such an amazing experience that we ended up SNUBAing at BOTH stops. We didn’t feel rushed at all, even after SNUBAing we had plenty of time to go down the slide and snorkel around the boat with everyone else. I would definitely recommend booking with Maui Snorkeling. The Captain and crew were extremely friendly and shared their knowledge of the area – Absolutely an Amazing Experience! This was a family vacation, we had four adults and two infants ( 2 ½ yrs old and 3 mth old). I would suggest that if you’re nervous, then bring your own swim floaties for the infants. Also, there’s no need to bring your own food unless you’re particular, as lunch was a turkey or ham sandwich with a pasta salad and soda. (They even had ginger ale on hand for those of us that get motion sickness.) Thank you for Wonderful Memories Maui...

Aloha!

First thing's first: look no further for the best all inclusive snorkeling adventure in Maui. Maui Snorkeling on the Lani Kai II was superb!

Now to the nitty gritty! We arrived bright and early to the port and, after a few short minutes and quick check in, were aboard and had set off for Molokini Crater! Luckily the weather was second to none and visibility was amazing. The whole crew was very welcoming and conversational giving us tips and tricks. Shortly after setting sail, we were enjoying the complimentary breakfast and the sites/sounds of the Maui coast!

Arriving at Molokini Crater was something of a dream. Crystal clear waters and tons of tropical wildlife awaited us upon arrival. There was no shortage of triggerfish, yellow tangs, and urchin throughout the beautiful coral reef. If you keep your eyes peeled, you may even spot an octopus or two!

Unfortunately, our second stop to Turtle Town was not possible due to the turbid waters on shore. But don't let this hinder your bookings! The Molokini snorkeling and the blow up water slide were more than enough to keep us occupied. The locally supplied lunch was amazing as well!

On our way back to the port, we talked to several of the crew about the local attractions and were given a TON of suggestions. We even met someone who relocated from right here in Maryland. The captain gave us all history facts for the surrounding islands and adjacent waters which was a bonus!

So, again, look no further for an amazing snorkeling adventure on Maui. You get fed, you get amazing views, and you get memories for a lifetime! Mahalo to the crew and the captain of the Lani Kai for an...

We just returned from an amazing 9 day trip to Maui! We did the Molokini Crater Snorkeling tour and we were not disappointed. We did the early morning tour. They served coffee, muffins and yummy pastries. We were also served sandwiches, drinks/sodas/waters for lunch. This is really appreciated! It was really nice not to have to pack and bring these things while on vacation. The Captain was knowledgeable, personable and had a great sense of humor. He was honest, fair and genuinely concerned that everyone has a great experience. The ladies working on the boat were also friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Their skill on the boat and in the water was quite impressive! We loved snorkeling in the crater. The water was so calm and clear. We saw many different types of fish and other marine life. They were swimming all around us. On the way to the crater, we even got to see an out of season Whale Mama and her calf! Even our Captain was surprised that she was there. He moved the boat to ensure we all got to see her. It was majestic and beautiful. Our 14 year old son loved jumping off the boat and going down the slide. It was great because everyone cheered for each other on the slide. It was a really great time and perfect day! The professional photos that were taken were really appreciated! It was well worth the cost to have the gift of these memories captured in such great photos. Our photographer was so sweet and just an overall lovely woman. Her skill for taking underwater pictures was incredible. She even gave us some great suggestions on other places to visit during our vacation. I highly recommend...
