I've been to a lot of mini golf courses around the country and if I have to be honest, I have some mixed feelings about this course. Being the only mini golf course I could find in Maui, it took 30 minutes to travel there from Lahaina, but of course it's a nice scenic drive. For a mini golf course, it's expensive. 1 adult and two kids was $40, but at the same time that included 36 holes total across two courses. Some golf courses would charge extra for the second course, but of course if you don't want to spend for two courses you can limit your budget if you want to. IT was very windy when we went there, which affects play so be mindful of the weather. Overall, the course is better maintained than some other reviewers have stated. Equipment and the course was clean, in good repair and I only noticed one plaque being broken. Compared to a lot of mini golf courses I've seen, this is excellent condition. The decorations on the course are pretty and they have lots of nice interesting facts about Hawaii at each hole. Each hole has a flag pin, which is nice for being able to find the end of the hole, but annoying because you have to take out the flags each time or risk the ball not going in when it otherwise would. They should put a holder for the flag pin at each hole so you don't have to lie it down in limited space. I also got a fiberglass splinter on one of the flags so watch out for that. Regarding the greens, I found the contour of them to be a little odd and annoying in spots and the ball didn't move the way I'd expect based on other courses. Something I found strange is that the place closes at 5 or 6pm. While this makes sense with daylight hours, it seems odd that a place like that would not stay open until 9pm. Maybe there is a local...
Read moreGreat way to get in a couple of hours of fun. My party was two adults, and we had a blast here. We also saw family and friend groups, large and small, with big age ranges enjoying themselves. Lots of laughter and bonding time to be had!
The staff was great. They helped us choose the lowest cost for the two things we wanted to do.
Being a hot afternoon, we loved battling it out and blasting water at each other on the bumper boats. Fun and refreshing!
We did a round of mini golf after, and the course was just the right amount of challenge and silly. There are two courses to choose from or people can do both.
We did not try the trampoline or climbing wall. As an adult with no climbing wall experience, I think I could have had fun. My companion has climbing experience and didn't think the most difficult route would present any challenge, so your mileage will vary on that one.
The trampoline has a max weight capacity of 150, so kids and smaller adults could go for that. They set it up to have a safety harness so it looks like people can get energetic without much risk of an injury.
To me the pricing seemed reasonable for the amount of fun time we had. I would gladly return for a date or a good time with...
Read moreStayed in Kihei for most of our Maui visit. This town was about a 20 minute drive from where my SO and I stayed. Super cool locaction right off the harbor. Def make some time to enjoy the views off the harbor and take a little stroll in the plaza area. The plaza offers lots of chances to get some souvernirs and photos. Definitely an area worth spending a few hours in. The aquarium is also located across the street, within walking distance. The golf park itself was a great way to spend some time enjoying the beautiful weather Maui has to offer! There are spinners at every stop with trivia and trials that makes the course interactive and challenging! But in a fun way. Beautiful flowers all around. Overall, fun spot and...
