Last evening my wife ordered a drink that should contain 2 oz's of rum. The drink tasted as if there was not a single bit of alcohol. This prompted me to ask for a single shot of the Bacardi Rum so that we can add it. We tasted the Rum from the single shot and it was watered down, barely tasted of rum. We poured it into the original drink and the shot glass beaded up on the side with water droplets. We showed this to the waitress who was to relay to the manager that the rum is being watered down. Upon tasting the straight shot it was very easy to tell it had water added, the taste was dilluted but at least the original drink had some alcohol at this point. The manager never came out to speak with us, in fact I had to go request a conversation. She came back to the table and adamantly stated that watering down was not happening. We told her that flavored rum when poured from a shot glass should have sugar cling to the sides much like wine does. She refused to believe that and said that perhaps only dark rum does that. Read moreWas visiting the Aquarium with my Mother and Sisters. Decided to grab a lunch at Seascape. We were seated promptly. Everything seemed great. The server Roslyn gets a zero star ranking. Gave her drink order twice- then had to ask the server who brought out our food to finally get our drinks. She seemed very distracted the whole time. Well, we figured out why. Got my check, their were four in our party. Noticed a Service charge of almost $20. When I questioned her on it, she told me "I add these to all tables" I asked is this a restaurant policy, and I would like to see where it is printed on the menu - (we were a party of 4) - she grabbed the bill and said she will remove it. Brought me back a receipt that was not proper, and still showed the pending charges. I talked to a manager who fixed it. I explained the pattern, and said as far as I am concerned - she was steeling from us. She should be fired. Wonder how many more customers she ripped off.
