Great shopping trip. The store was clean, neat, and well organized. I found some fantastic deals and was very pleased with my visit. The only reason i could not give it 5 stars is because the cashier was rather snippy. Just one example was as she was ringing items up i told her which were on clearance so she could make sure it rang correctly. When a set of drawing pencils came up i told her i got it off the clearance section near planners (where several other items were and rang correctly). She sat them to the side and snapped that she knew they were not clearance and pointed out date on tag being too new which was good tip to know. I let her know there was a whole row of them there thinking she may want to move them so no one else was mistaken. She never asked me if i wanted to get them at regular price but i remembered that all pencil sets were actually 40% off anyways. I told her and she said she did not know and not once did she scan them or even ask anyone else. I was in such shock and didn't want to make her any more agitated than she had become so i let her keep ringing the rest of my items. I quickly paid so she could get back to talking with two other employees as they were having so much fun before i interrupted. I will shop there again for sure but it left bit of an "ughhh feeling" with me so i havent been too excited to go. Im sure if i look at the sales circular ill run right...
Read moreEveryone has bad days. Management can be very stressful. That is understood and I sympathize. However, when a customer calls your store looking for a specific item and stock available, providing the item number as well, being nice and polite should be part of the âmanagers jobâ. Not responding in a very short, smart Alec manor manor, saying I donât have a computer to look that item up and I have to physically go look for this item way⌠yes you may be busy and your job very demanding but your customer either infront of you or on the phone should never feel like they are a bother or a nuisance. Shame on you. Do better. When I called area hobby lobbies (Kingsport, Morristown, Sevierville, and Johnson city) they were all very much friendly, respectful and accommodating to my needs. Do better. After being treated that away I was hesitant to call other places, Greenville hobby lobby being my first call, I immediately started to apologize for asking every person I encountered via phone to ask them to look. Shame on you. Again do better or go home. I never write reviews but my purchase is for a venue that I own and I plan to purchase a large quantity of items and I only called to insure that I could purchase these items at your store. I am hopeful by this review you either change or upper Managment straightens...
Read moreI will never go back there ever again! One of the sales associates spent 30-45 min with me helping with my album. The freaking thing that made me mad is she informed me this whole brand of scrapbook supplies were 40% off and today is the last day! I was excited to put my book together and of course exactly what I knew would happen, happened! None of it was on sale. Remind you, I spend all that time going through picking stuff out and itâs next week. You think they would give me the sale considering the sale starts tomorrow, but instead offer me to come back then! Ummmmm no...! Train your employees better and when you make a mistake, you should be kind to your customers! Even 25% off my whole cart wouldâve been nice! Instead, they just tell me you will have to come back tomorrow. Even another lady that was shopping near me heard her and started picking other things out. Now there is two unhappy people about this and they still did nothing. This place is awful and I will never shop for any of my projects...
