If this was a rating of the food and drink quality here at Sr. Salsa's it would be a easy 5 stars! Service was a total let down, no drinks, not even water on the table for at least 20 minutes after chips, salsa and even after the order of cheese dip hit the table. I guess filling the ice buckets was more important than serving quests? The drinks, Texas Margarita, The Pina Colada & the frostiest cold mug for a Corona (see pic) that I have ever had were excellent! The Tacos were very good. The wife's Shrimp Cocktail possibly the best in the upstate! The Texas Fajita came out nice, hot and sizzling, however the additional 15 minute wait for the tortillas and side ingredients had turned the steak, shrimp and chicken from sizzling to luke warm. Deserts the flan and sopapilla were also extremely tasty. It's a shame such excellent food and drink prep was wasted on very lackluster service, also grabbing the cash tip off the table before we could leave the booth was very unprofessional. Still left what we thought a very generous after all things considered a $10 tip on an $84 tab. Ps... A/C could have been on a lower setting uncomfortably warm.

Update: 9/22/22 Best service and food quality we have experienced in awhile! We came in half hour or so before closing time. Expecting to be rushed (which was wrong on our part) we were wrong, a wonderful, delightful, well paced, delicious meal! Changed review from 2 stars to 4 stars.

More importantly, we plan to come back for more experiences here.

Last update 4/18/23 As a Google Local Guide, it is my duty to provide honest and fair reviews to my followers. Unfortunately, my recent experience at Sr Salsa restaurant was far from satisfactory.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, my party and I were informed that the kitchen closes at 9pm. However, we noticed that they were still seating people, and we were ready to order before the cutoff time. Despite our attempts to flag down our waitress, she did not come over to take our order until much later.

When I spoke to the manager to clarify the situation, the young boy who had initially informed us about the kitchen closing time was dismissive and unhelpful. His attitude was unprofessional and did not contribute to a positive dining experience.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the service we received at Sr Salsa restaurant. As a result, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to others. I give them a negative 1-star rating and suggest that they work on their customer service skills and communication with...

There was 3 of us that came in for lunch. Our group had been to this spot many many times with wonderful experiences but time was different. Our servers name was natalia. We were sat, and within 2 minutes where “greeted” with “what can i get you to drink?” we gave our drink orders and we could immediately tell this woman was not friendly and did not want to be there. We get our drinks then we go to order. I ordered a pollo fundido. the other two, asked for a steak fundido. (pollo fundido but with steak instead)- pretty straight forward. our food comes out and I got the correct food, the others did not. Natalie brought them “steak fajitas.” at this point she has not refilled our drinks or chips, and she has not used any manners whatsoever. The guys decided they couldnt eat what she presented and asked another lady to get their food fixed. As we are talking with the other lady, our server natalie comes over asking what the problem is. Natalie process to argue with all 3 of us saying “you ordered the fajitas.” instead of saying sorry, and immediately taking the plates to get it fixed she spoke to the other lady in spanish saying we are the ones who messed up. we explained that we wanted 2 steak fundidos to the other lady and she got it fixed right away. in the meantime, Natalie comes back over to our table and places a menu on our table and tells us to read it, and that “there is no steak fundido on the menu.” with that, i guess she decided to bring out what she wanted instead of making sure “steak fundidos” is what we wanted. so our remake comes out and she slams the food on the table, and we dont see her again. we also needed silverware and we eventually got up and got it ourselves. she was quite possibly the nastiest woman weve ever had as a server. she shouldnt have a job if she hates...

This is one of my ALL TIME FAV Mexican restaurants LOCATION Woodruff Rd like 3 minutes from 385 at the Feaster Road Wendy's intersection NEXT TIME you are hungry and EVERYTHING ON WOODRUFF ROAD IS PACKED just take a minute and hop in here* 😉 thank me later They always greet me ALWAYS have friendly service The restaurant is always clean FOOD The food is ALWAYS DELICIOUS Tonight was simple chicken quesadilla AND IT WAS FABULOUS It was HUGE and the chicken was SO TENDER and the cheese was ooey gooey goodness It came with a lot of salad sour cream and guac and I poured a little salsa on top and almost needed a wheelbarrow to leave I also HIGHLY recommend all the fajitas, the Mexican soup and the chimichanga and the nachos! They also have a full bar SERVICE The sweet Gal who served us was precious. She kept coming by checking on us and took the best of care of us even to the point where she made sure I left with a sweet tea to go💓 VALUE The price was EXCELLENT!!!!!!
