This is a brick oven pizza place, pizzas are cooked in a fire oven without a pan at high heat for only a couple minutes. That means a very thin and crispy/crunchy crust. So if you want thick chewy crusts like pan pizzas, look elsewhere.
Pizzas are 10 inches and are individual sized meals. You select type of cheese, sauce, and toppings. It works similar to how Subway works, you stand at the counter and tell them what you want, then you pay and sit at your table while the order is cooked, and then brought out to you. The fire oven style of cooking does mean very little waiting for your meal.
$6.50 for a pizza with basic toppings/veggies, with some toppings being premium and adding to the cost. A plain cheese pizza is $5. There are many sauce and cheese types available to choose from. They even have non-traditional options like hot sauce and thai.
I loved the pizza. I can not vouch for the tradition pizza sauce as I get garlic and olive oil instead, but the pizza was great in my opinion. This is not pizza like you get from major chains like Pizza Hut, these are artisan style, with ingredients like artichoke hearts and portobello mushrooms being available.
You can make a standard type thin crust pizza with pepperoni and mozzarella if that is your desire. They also have calzones and salads available. The salads come in a bread bowl.
As I said before, you order and pay at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The staff on my visit was courtious and the decor is suitable for what this place is, don't expect posh surroundings, this is more fast food than sit down and be served.
This is a great place for a quick bite to eat, when you want somthing different and more tasty than the large...
Read moreThis was a horrible experience dealing with manager Tamara and server Krystin (may be spelled wrong)! Starting with customer service portion of visit. Ms. Krystin made it extremely difficult to get ingredients for pizza. She would put a couple of pieces and if you asked for a little more there was an immense amount of attitude. Secondly, during the process of building my pizza she continuously would wipe the counter off with the gloved hand she was using to pick up ingredients for my pizza. (Disgusting to say the least). Then, when preparing a second pizza for my husband she seemed to get worse with service. He asked several times for ingredients and she acted as if she did not hear him. The manager , Tamara was standing there and did not say a word until he said that he did not want the pizza based on the customer service he was receiving. She stated, that it was hard to hear behind the glass. (Understandable). He stated he understood but it was the body language and attitude of the server that was disheartening to him. The manager, Tamara, then told him he was being DEFENSIVE. I was appalled to say the least to here this come from a manager to a customer that was asking for better service or another server to continue the purchase. I stepped in to pay and the manager continued to speak in a negative manner to my husband and he told her we visit this establishment quite often and have referred many of our clients here as part of their meal plans. We own a gym that services 150 people or more on a monthly basis in the area and part of their meal plan is to have pizza. We will not direct them to your establishment with this type of customer service by a the...
Read moreUpdate! Tried this place again on Pie Day with the thought that it would probably be an absolute zoo but the fine young people working the line were awesome! This is the new, improved by 180 degrees, Your Pie. So glad they have improved under new ownership as the pizza is really good. Our favs are the Lineage or Southern Heat pizzas.
Old review: So my husband and I after taking a crazy detour from Garlington Road arrived at 8:55PM on a Saturday evening. We pull up in the parking lot and did not see an open sign on. We checked to see if they were open and were told yes. When approaching the counter after getting parked, we were told that they would make us two pizzas but only if we took them "to go." As we were heading to a movie after that, of course, that would not work. We were told that the "lobby" closes at 9:00PM. This is a Saturday night on top of that. They were well into the closing process and we felt as though we were an imposition to them. We walked back toward the door and while leaving, we were advised by the same person that Brixx serves pizza and they have buy one get one free pizza after 10PM. NICE! We were refused service as dine in and then given a suggestion of where we could take our business as this door was now shut to us for inside dining. You get ONE STAR for offering an...
