My dad and I visited the Volvo in Greenville to look for a new car as a graduation gift. I had a general sense of what I was looking for but wasn’t 100% sure. Mihai is the one who helped us from the time we walked in the door for the first time, to when we custom ordered an XC40. I have nothing but incredible things to say about Mihai- he was very helpful, patient and willing to answer any questions we had for him. He didn’t make us feel rushed or pressured (as some other car dealerships have before) and that is something very important to me especially when making a big purchase. At first, I was looking at a car already on the lot and Mihai took the time to show me all of the features of the car, including the park assist and the Volvo app (which is super cool btw). He also went into great detail about the different types of XC 40’s (inscription vs. momentum vs. R-design) and you could tell he was very knowledgeable and passionate about cars in general. I still wasn’t sure at that point if the car on the lot was the exact model/color/interior I wanted so I went home to think about it. I then decided to custom order an XC40 and of course, Mihai was just as helpful when ordering one as he was when showing us one on the lot. The entire process was a breeze thanks to Mihai! He was very open and honest about how long it could possibly take to get the car in because of how crazy things are right now. If you’re looking to buy a Volvo or any other car sold at this dealership, definitely ask for Mihai to help you. Buying a new car can seem intimidating and overwhelming but thanks to Mihai and everyone else at Volvo of Greenville, it...
Read moreWe just moved here from Hilton Head a month or so ago, and i was very nervous about a new dealer with my 2011 C70 convertible. I came in on a Friday wanting to schedule an appointment for an oil change and I figured it’d probably be a week out, maybe two as it is at all Volvo dealers. I met Chris upon walking into the service drive unannounced and was greeted with professionalism and a great attitude. He told me he could get my car in the next morning! I really was not expecting that quick of a timeframe but was more than pleased. I came in Saturday, and my car went right into the shop. I know I can be a problem customer with asking a million questions, and overall very anxious about my car and making sure everything is done right. If I could do it myself, I would! I asked him probably a dozen questions during service and he was receptive and listened every time. My service was about 2 hours, which was right in line with what was quoted. My car was vacuumed, HAND washed(wow!) and was handled more respectfully than any other Volvo dealer I’ve been to. He fixed the passenger inside map light I had asked him about halfway through service and forgot about, and what I got home and both dome lights came on I was ear to ear!! I will be back in April to see Chris for a few more services as well as a concern with my starting and he was able to book me with a loaner! What a guy. Y’all have a great advisor there and I am relieved to know that my car has someone who cares looking after it when i can’t (i work at Honda, so we can’t work on it HAH!) thank you so much Volvo Greenville...
Read moreOur Volvo XC90 left us in the middle of South Carolina at a parking lot and would not start. It was a Saturday afternoon and it took about 3 hours to get us to Greenville Volvo. To make things worse when the tow truck got to the dealer the emergency brake had activated and it would not de activate without the car turning on so it was stuck on top of the tow truck. The dealer had closed and we were in trouble. Out of nowhere the garage door opened and one of the mechanics came out to check and see what was happening. He had finished for the day. He grabbed his laptop and had the brake unlock. Truck went down no problem. We were still worried about how long it was going to take to fix as it was completely dead and we were heading on vacation. He stayed until he figured out what was wrong and let us know it was most likely the batteries being dead locking out the module. We left it there and got a call first thing on Monday. They had it inspected and repaired by end of day. We were able to pick it back up and finish out our vacation. You don’t see this type of service nowadays especially after hours on a Saturday. This mechanic could have just went home and we would have been stuck there all night but he stayed and helped. They were also kind enough to to take care of us first thing on Monday. A big Thank you from our family to the service team at Greenville Volvo. You...
