Been giving this place a trial run for a while after a few years from taking a break in collecting. Gotta say idk what's been up with the staff lately being so vocal about their vulgar way of speaking in store, their attitude at times, the online posts with their snide remarks on socials, & the snarky way they sometimes publicly downsize people when "some" are getting back into how this whole system of collecting with pre-orders, or what they call "pulls" work, & "others" are All new to the whole process with release date(s) and pre-order deadlines. So yeah with our daily lives keeping us so busy we may forget to message or check back frequently or on occasion and use whatever free time we have, in this work-heavy age that keeps us focused & barely able to survive & mainly paying the high taxes + bills so that we may have a little extra to barely use our free time just to enjoy and spend on what we like, also to get things done proper and in person when we feel like. Messaging is neat and affective i agree, but the staff have to understand that while there is time and all that, we may forget about these important dates between all the little things we do in our daily lives, they could at the very least offer an alternative as in "help with information on the weekly for cut-off dates on certain releases, or any info. to help both sides benefit instead of "you didn't put in your things before F.O.C." when we know as sure as the sun rises the next day, I did! Proofs such as timestamps, phone call/message logs and reciepts say otherwise. Least they could also do too at least when possible "make it right". Offer to re-order something we may have missed out on or make ample orders of series which are popular and sell out rapidly everywhere. Recently I've noticed some items were not made enough for those when released when ALSO there are some made in excess that not many care to pick up more than a few issues or etc.... Seems to be a ordering issue with the staff or something. That idk for sure.
I'm sorry and apologize the owner but I'll be mainly shopping at the other main locations for comics & such because whilst I've been helped quite a bit, it wasn't as far as the staff could've offered on their end. Customer service here in most aspects where it counts for this hobby is dead last compared to most, this falls mainly on management's head from what I've seen too, for it's them i hear the negativity of customers and more spoken from most!!!
Edit: Had to drop it down 1 more star because my pulls have not been guaranteed, and also i was told it was my fault when i had pre-ordered ahead of time for some requested covers.
-1âď¸ And probably more but i have already decided to not go back like so many others I've heard that have had equally or even more abys-mal interactions with the staff. Including making it a hassle with makimg changes to the pulls even it's with extra time before the...
Read moreI was at your store recently and was totally and completely shocked how your (young) female employee was very rude with a customer that I saw and over heard how she treated the customer. He was basically looking at a item and immediately said that was not for sale, now seriously how would the customer know whether that item was not for sale, And then the customer actually went to her just wanted to explain to her and was still very rude!! I was there at your store starting early for my Christmas shopping but this behavior really turned me away. I will not set foot this location ever again. And further, I will let everyone know and I let them know not to go...
Read moreThe store is cool, has very awesome comics books and also very nice statues of venom, hulk, Superman, etc... that in fact we were interested in buying one of those, BUT the young guy who works there was rude and seemed like he didnât care whether to make a sell or help at all, we didnât end up taking it cause of the really bad customer service! Even when we walked in since itâs a very small store the guy just looked at us as we opened the door and just looked away like if he didnât see...
