Really delicious food! I highly recommend you pay this place a visit. I loved the menu options, very refreshing. I ordered the half chicken with some fries and platanos. The chicken was super juicy. The chicken skin was perfectly crispy as well, very flavorful too. The sauces it came with were delicious. They gave me a green and red sauce, i recommend both. None were spicy, but they gave the chicken a great flavor. plantains are one of my favorite foods so I was excited to see them as a side for the chicken. They were sweet and delicious . I got full off of my order, feel like it’s well served. My brother got the aji Amarillo, he absolutely loved it. He said it was very flavorful and the rice was also delicious. For our drinks, we decided to try the chicha morada. It was so refreshing and delicious. I highly recommend you give this restaurant a try, will definitely be back for more ! Everyone was really nice, very clean and nice environment in the restaurant as well.

We desperately need more variety and Brasas is bringing it to the RGV. I ordered the rotisserie chicken with three sides; fried plaintains, fries and mixed rice & beans. The chicken was tender, juicy and well seasoned. Their ají, which is a traditional type of dipping sauce made with varying degrees of heat were delicious. I had the mild Ají Amarillo (yellow pepper) and the spicy Ají Rojo (red pepper), both were delicious and I dipped both my chicken and my fries in them. To drink, we had the chicha morada, a beverage made using purple corn, clove, cinnamon and lemon and the maracuyá or passion fruit. As someone who has had Peruvian before (and loves it!), this was an excellent and authentic experience. My one and only complaint was that they did not have picarones, a traditional Peruvian dessert, but the friendly chef stated he would eventually add it to the menu. I can’t wait, it’s one more thing to look forward to in addition to the amazing items they already offer.

We had the Tallarines a la Huancaína with Ribeye and the Ají de Gallina. Both dishes were very good. The staff clearly explained the menu, which helped since we’re not very familiar with Peruvian food. Next time we plan to try their specialties—ceviche and rotisserie chicken.

A great find for us! As we were driving looking for a place to grab a bite, we initially drove past it when we saw the sign. My wife looked it up online, saw Ceviche, Lomo Saltado, and other Peruvian favorites...and we were instantly sold (did a u-turn once I heard Peruvian Ceviche and Lomo Saltado). It was quickly determined that this would be one or our go-to spots. The atmosphere was great, food amazing, and Chef Efren made us feel like we were guests in his own dining room. I had the Ceviche Peruano, but forgot to take a picture before I dug into it. The rotisserie chicken was delicious as well (1/2 chicken portion was enough for my wife and daughter). We look forward to our next visit! Muchas...
