First, the shop is nice, the people are incredibly friendly. This is a great shop to rent, buy and talk trails. I am on the road full time, riding in multiple locations and needed to have my front and rear shocks rebuilt on my mountain bike. I should have waited till I went north. When I dropped my bike off, no one asked me my riding weight, which I thought was odd. When I got to the shop, they were about to just give me my bike back without asking my riding weight to set the PSI on my shocks and help me set the sag. I asked what my front shocks were set, I was told they were not sure, as they think they were set to what they were set at before. I asked them to set my rear shock at my riding weight. Not once, did they say "hey lets set up the SAG". So I left not thinking about it. Then I rode at a downhill park and had a rough day. Then I remembered all my other shops, helped me set SAG when they worked on my shocks. I am not a mechanic. I paid them a lot of money to rebuild shocks and for a bolt. Maybe it is my fault for assuming that shock rebuilds come with setting the PSI in the front and rear shocks, with me sitting on the bike to set the SAG would be part of service. So now, I have to pay someone again, (up north) to help me set SAG. Kindof frustrated on this. It wasn't cheap. Great people, I do genuinely like the shop. I did call other shops to ask if they check the SAG or reset it up if I had my shocks rebuilt with them, and they all do that. Maybe Gravity Sports could have a checklist that when shocks are built the mechanics help the customer to set the SAG on their new suspension. Would add to the quality of...
Read moreCame here in July 2019 to make some upgrades and computer changes for our E-Mountain bikes with Bosch motors. First, all of the staff greets you but does not follow you around the store. They have lots of clothing for hiking, biking and swimming. We looked around. Lots of backpacking/camping basics and shoes there too. All well merchandised. We got a lot of parts and upgrades for our bikes and we left them there for installation. My husband called back with lots of questions and every time staff was super helpful. They have a way of working with you that makes you feel heard, not talked down to (as many bike shops can be as we are certainly not hard core experts), and they were super responsive. Whenever in McCall Idaho, go here first for your biking, hiking needs. They also rent bikes and are near the marina area of McCall. LOVE LOVE...

These guys are awesome! My wife and I have been vacationing in McCall, with the intent to ride our mountain bikes around town and out on the trails. Well, day one, my derailer goes, "naaaa. Don't feel like it." Went to Gravity from some chain lube, and one of the friendly mechanics fixes the darn thing for me, just for the price of the lube. Day two, flat tire two blocks away, and i left my kit at the canper. They were busy, 4th of July and all. But, they let me borrow the tools I needed to replace the tube. Day three, the wife's hydronic breaks start leaking fluid, and despite the hassle and bustle, they get the bike fixed within 12 hours, and not for an obscure price. They are seriously...
