Hometown Pizza & Pub — Restaurant in McCall

We were on our way back home to Caldwell after camping at Ponderosa and saw our trailer tire was almost flat. We had to stop at Les Schwab and found out we needed to replace the tire. It was going to be a bit of a wait so we walked down Deinhard Ln after looking up where we could get something to eat. I ordered the grilled avocado sandwich and my husband ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and a house salad. The young man at the counter was polite and courteous when he took our order. He said he was sorry to hear about our trouble with the tire when we told him what happened. We sat in the pub area and it was cozy and a nice atmosphere. We did not wait long for our food to be ready. Our sandwiches were delicious! we will definitely come here again the next time we are in McCall. My husband even recommended it to one of his previous coworkers because they come out to McCall to do...

We went as a family to grab a quick lunch before heading off to do other activities. This was an unplanned stop (brewery was closed) so I was nervous about trying it without looking at the menu beforehand. I did not need to worry, because this pizza shop was delicious and really nice. There were a lot of options and plenty of places to sit for dine-in. We especially loved the fried haloumi cheese appetizer. The pepperoni pizza was especially good, and we all ate way too much.

One note: this place is mostly "serve yourself". You order at the counter, grab your own plates/silverware, and clear your own table. The only thing the staff does is cook and take pizzas out to you. It's a fairly good pizza. Choice of take & bake or they bake. Several different choices of pizza & salad toppers. The salad I enjoyed was fresh, cool, and crisp! Yum! Or can can try one of theirs, pizza & salad. For me it was really a hard decision. The staff is sincere, good conversationalist, fun, & witty. You can enjoy your goodies there. Inside & outside dining. Which is great for all pet lovers. I believe Hometown Pizza of gorgeous McCall, IDAHO is a great place. You can await in the lobby, a table, or bench.
