Rivergrrill — Restaurant in McCall

WARNING: Be wary of ordering online.

My online order was confirmed at 6:23pm and was told order would be ready at 6:45pm. Went to the truck at 6:43pm and waited around for an announcement or a txt, but none came. So, at 6:55 I went to the truck window and asked if they would text me when my order was ready. After a bit of liking at his screen and confirming my name, the order taker told me that they “would start n it quickly.” A bit stunned, I asked if they had already started my order and was told “no,” but they would text me when it was ready.

Disappointed, and being out $42 for two burgers, I went back to my nearly empty glass of Broken Horn beer.

Sorry that I have no appraisal of the food, but I’ve not yet seen it.

Hopefully, by 7:15pm, I might get a chance to taste it.

Update @7:40pm. Went to check. No burgers yet. They asked if I wanted a refund. Said “no, I will wait.” I then asked how they will contact me to let me know when the food was ready. After thinking a bit he said they would yes me or give me a buzzer. I took the buzzer thinking that would be closer to “old school.”
