Went this past weekend it was okay. My kids enjoyed it's. Note no backpacks. The purse backpacks were allowed as well as medical packs and backpack baby bags. Obviously none with food, drinks or contraband. Had a descent amount of rides, games and concession stands. Unlimited rides wrist bands were $25 or you could buy individual tickets that were 1.25 each. Most rides for little kids were 2 tickets, average tickets for most ages rides were 4 tickets and the 12 or 15yr old and up rides cost 6 tickets. Ticket line moved pretty quickly for all the people in it. We went on a Saturday. Ticket booth took card and cash but some vendors were cash only. There was an atm on site. I didn't use it. I brought cash and used my card when available. Petting zoo had a calf, a few sheep, goats, chickens and roasters you could feed. There was a hand washing station after petting te animals and Santi stands near concessions. There was a ferris wheel, teacups, merry go round, the surge and more. Your typical vendor games. Throw this, hit this, knock that over win a prize. Note that the wrist bands and tickets are for the rides only. You had to pay the vendors to play their games. Averaged about $5 for two tries. There was music and a large setting area with tables. Concession stands you could get typical fair food, pizza, corn dogs, hot dogs, burgers($7), nachos($7-8), slushies, giant funnel cakes. Ones enough for two people($6). Deep fried Oreos(5 come in a order $6), deep fried candy bars($6), fountain drinks and bottled water($3). Was held at Heritage Park. Got there about 15 minutes after the fair started. Finding parking was fairly easy. There were two areas for parking. Getting in and out was easy. Read moreAttended yesterday, website very misleading. Decided to view the art exhibition(complete waste of time- pickled vegetables and jams were part of the exhibition) inside was a white mother and son, no attendee inside. We walk in (2 African American women) now there is an attendee, she suddenly enters behind the gate as if she is adjusting what could be considered yard sale trash. ( She stays the entire time we were there) So, we decided to leave, as we leave she follows, yet the white mother and son were left in the exhibit to freely finger all the preserves they could get their hands on. 😡 Trust, me, there wasnt s thing in there i wanted to see, no less take. Pitifully poor exhibition, SMH. Entry fee was a money grab, if you drive by no signs indicating there is an entrance until you get to the gate, where the attendee and Henry County Sheriff were sitting. The signs were inside a door way, leaning against a wall. Pricey, definitely not worth the money or my time, had a much better time at the Georgia National Fair in Perry, should have drove back down. ( worth the ride and entrance fee of $15. ) I like to support local events, but I will never attend this fair...
Read moreThis was by far the worst Fair experience I have ever had. They hardly had any rides and the other rides you had to pay for!! That was not included with the unlimited wristband. It smelled horrible out there as well with all the horse poop ride beside the food stands. If I can remember they only had 5 food stands and that was also a disappointment. The corndogs were chicken hot dogs, the funnel cakes looked like wheat batter and the lemonade was watered down. I would highly recommend waiting for the Real Deal.....National Fair in Perry Ga to have a pleasant experience. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS LOCAL FAIR EVER AGAIN. WASTED MY...
