If I could give less than one star I would be doing so. This is going to be a scathing review based on unprofessionalism I have ever seen from a realtor, sales person. Last year around this time I got a letter from Mcgregor Realty soliciting an offer to buy my 10 acres in Minnesota for some 13k. I did not solicit an offer from them. They used some form of public data to calculate an offer of approx. 26% of my properties actual value to attempt to steal it from me! I called Mr Don Haller and told him not to solicit me anymore. At this time he said it's just junk mail, I affirmed I do not want his company making any further contact with me and ended the call. Should have been the end of the story, but no it's just beginning! He sends another letter to me today, I call him on it again and I explained that I told him last year I did not want to receive his mail his last letter was offensive and this one was no different. Mr Haller said oh yeah I remember that call! I explained that this is not something I would ever consider, and if I did i would not use his very unscrupulous company being that last year he made an offer of 26% value in an attempt to obviously steal something my family worked so hard to achieve. So in todays conversation Mr. Don Haller shouts at me and tells me it's just junk mail throw it away! and hung up. Mr. Haller is obviously aware that I no no longer live in MN as he mails me in Oklahoma. I called several more times to talk to him, he never picked up I assume he didnt want to bothered anymore. Interesting that when something he does causes a bother to others he simply ignores the calls. One thing that Mr. Haller told me is can't control the letters his company sends out? I wonder if this is an acceptable manner to do business? One point to be made as a company not based in Oklahoma he has to register with the Oklahoma trade commissioner to do business here. I sent numerous texts messages asking for an acknowledgment that he was harassing me and I would tolerate the harassment? Crickets. You can extrapolate the type of business man he is as he made an offensive offer in hopes to steal my children's inheritance. Lastly he makes excuses that he has no control over his companies mailing list! I am an educated consumer. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau loves to get to field complaints on companies like this who harass the little guy, not to mention he is violating Oklahoma state commerce laws. This review would have never happened if he agreed to fix his companies errors. Instead he only made excuses on the fact his company can not control the written communication they send out! I will educate you as I am using your website rating board to notify you to cease communication with me written and orally. You have not registered with the Oklahoma commerce to do business here and are in violation of Oklahoma state commerce regulations! If you did you would know you have to honor a residence request to stop solicitations, but I digress. An apology and an agreement to cease communications I will remove this post as this was not the way I would have chose to communicate. You have my address send a written apology for the inconvenience and an acknowledgment you will not contact me again. That will resolve the issue I will remove the post. I look forward to your response in writing only as an apology, not a solicitation to be clear! Your response is a non apology, however I am glad to hear that you will try to implement some risk management to avoid breaking the laws in the future....

Don and his group were wonderful to work with. He was very familiar with the potential and the correct price to offer our cabin. Even with the slow down of the economy and the higher interest rates, we had tremendous traffic through our property and we were able to sell the cabin to someone we think will enjoy it as much as we did. Don Haller of McGregor Realty handled the sale of our property north of Cromwell, MN. Results were very fast and for the most part totally problem free. It was a pleasure working with him. Questions were answered quickly and professionally. I would recommend Don to anyone. The only reason I did not rate 5 stars was because I never actually met Don in person due to the distance from home to the property. But everything was still handled well with excellent results.
