Whether it is the updated selection of cigars, the lounge itself, monthly events, atmosphere, pipes and blends, you can't beat TJ's Cigar Lounge. It is a gem of the Greater Waco area.

I am a big fan of many lounges in the United States, but TJ's has something for everyone.

The Lounge: This lounge is the nicest in all of Texas. It is extremely spacious with the most comfortable leather couches and chairs as well as 4 or 5 HDTVs. There is also a bar area. However, another big positive of TJs is BYOB. The decor is also tasteful and gives the lounge a high-class ambiance.

The Humidor: Although this is not the largest humidor like a JR Cigars in Whippany, NJ, it is plenty big and stocked with an amazing selection, not to mention extremely affordable. New cigar selections are also added every month.

The Service: Top notch service. They help with everything from recommendations, pointing out new selections, and are attentive to the cleanliness of the store. A big peeve for me in any lounge is someone not cleaning the ashtrays in good time, and the service here always get is right.

The Events: I have attended several events in the past and they all very successful, engaging, and informative. TJ's does an excellent job bringing in vendors. Their was a full house at the Rocky Patel event. LaFlor Dominicana just recently came out, and Alec Bradley, Esteban Carreras, and Xikar HC are also holding an event in the months to come.

The best cigar lounge I've ever visited. I recommend it to every cigar smoker I meet.

Why? Well, I was shown this place by a friend who lives near Waco and he discovered it in his daily commute to work. Soon, it became a fixture for our Baylor home football game outings for the last 4 years. I can't stop raving about the best little cigar lounge in Texas located in McGregor. The town is a sleepy strip of historic buildings from the "Last Picture Show". But, then you have TJ's. Spacious, comfortable leather sofas and chairs with 6 large flat screens for sorts watching and low lighting allow for one of the most relaxing experiences next to the fictional "Chicken Ranch". The humidor could be better stocked and it not as large as you'd think compared to the rest of the place, but the variety is there and they have some pretty nice cigar accessories for sale. They finally got a liquor license, so its a few steps short of heaven. They also have numerous events like cigar vendors, poker nights & other great events.

But, if you want some good conversation w the small town clientele, a comfortable seat to put your feet up for a good cigar while watching the world slowly go bu with some central Texas charm, TJ's gets my vote all day long as simple the best (Weirdly, they're...

If you are looking for somewhere to hang out this is the place for you! It has a very nice relaxing atmosphere! You can light your favorite cigar up enjoy a good drink with music that isn't so loud you cannot have a conversation! The drinks are made very well. The owner is quite nice and accommodating. The people here are friendly making it an ideal place to be to get away from the loud obnoxious crowds.

The humidor is low on cigars at the moment. Since the new ownership they have had a hard time acquiring their stock due to back order. But don't let that detour you! It still has a sizable collection and is well maintained. Once the orders start coming in I'm sure everyone will find something they like.
