Incredibly thankful DRIPBaR McKinney is here!!! While I’ve tried IV therapy a few times before, both mobile at home and in an office, THIS is completely different. Yes, all the reviews mentioning the beautiful aesthetics and friendly welcome are 100% accurate. The key differentiator for me is the true approach to WELLNESS in every corner of this studio. I had always thought about infusions as a “quick fix” which it absolutely can be! But I learned that it can be much more a part of my overall health.m after meeting the owner here.

Aaron is such a warm and friendly owner with deep knowledge of these services. My daughter is a student athlete who started to decline with fatigue, headaches, no energy throughout the day before a critical club volleyball tournament. After assessing her situation on the phone and consulting with the onsite nurse, Aaron welcomed my daughter late on a Friday evening directly putting her into the salt sauna as her IV was prepared. Immediately following treatment, my daughter felt GOOD. The next morning, her energy levels were high, headaches gone, and she was ready to play. I worried these boosts would diminish thoroughly the day, however she only continued to generate more energy, sustaining improved feeling for weeks (so far). My daughter asked if she could get an IV treatment before every tournament, which made me laugh. We have referred the DRIPBaR McKinney to several teammates and friends, and everyone who has contacted Aaron and her staff has raved about their experience and the results reaped afterwards. I came into Drip IV Bar in McKinney for dehydration, seeking IV support. I clearly asked before paying for the Good Faith Exam (GFE) whether I would be able to receive the drip afterward. I was told yes, if the NP could finish only to be walked to the back and then informed by the nurse that she “only had 10 minutes” and couldn’t administer the drip.

As a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), I was shocked by the lack of empathy and professionalism shown by the nurse. I even asked if I could be placed on a pressure bag due to my condition/time. Her attitude and unwillingness to help directly contradicted everything I know and teach about patient care.

The woman at the front desk was kind and courteous, a sharp contrast to the nurse, who made me feel dismissed and disregarded.

My significant other is a professional athlete who used to visit this chain in Miami regularly. This location, however, was a complete letdown. We won’t return, and I do not recommend this location to anyone especially athletes looking for high-quality hydration care and professionalism.

Healthcare professionals are expected to uphold values like compassion, communication, integrity, and advocacy. Sadly, those were completely missing in my experience here.

One possible solution could be to stop accepting patients or taking payment after 6:25 or 6:30PM. It would be more appropriate to inform them beforehand (before the GFE), as turning them away earlier is more understandable and respectful than initiating the care process and then discontinuing it.
