I needed flowers for a funeral. When I walked in to order I needed some suggestions for fillers to go with some roses. The person that was at the store was not interested in showing me what was available, I had to ask multiple times what the options were available. I had a picture of what I was looking for but she would not look at it and subsequently did not use the ferns I wanted. I ordered roses with some filler flowers and ferns, I paid to have them arranged. The "arrangement" was a rose in a tube with a single piece of fern and some filler flowers in I guess what I would call a grouping. They were not attached to each other and I had to arrange them before the service. I had a family member pick up the order and when they arrived they were not able to locate the order by the name it was ordered under, the family member didn't know exactly what was ordered to describe the order. They did tell us when we placed the order that it was Mother's Day weekend, Meadville Prom, and some other event at the College. In the big picture the flowers at a funeral are really not that important compared to the significance of losing a family member but if you have something specific in mind I would not use this shop. I gave them 2 stars because they did have the order ready at the correct...
Read moreI wish all florists were like this. For a relative's memorial service, I needed to find a florist near the small towns of Meadville and Cambridge Springs and at first I was going to use teleflower but then decided to search out a locally-owned florist and I am so so happy that I did.
Loefflers has been run by the same family for 92 years (!!) and Travis (the son/grandson/great grandson of the founders) could not have been more amazing with his help. He helped us choose a beautiful floral spray that was delivered that morning and was commented on by everyone at the service . Travis even took a a photo from the service to show us how it looked. If Loefflers were our local shop, we'd order from there every day. Thank you for a...
Read moreWe had a family member hospitalized at the last minute (day before Easter) and I wanted to send something to cheer him up. I called a few minutes before closing and the staff was very accommodating with what I was looking to send. They went out of their way to ensure my order was filled even though the truck was already loaded for the day. I was extremely satisfied with their willingness to help out in such short notice and the person I spoke with (so sorry but I cannot remember her name, just that she was the neighbor helping out) was very kind and very sweet!! I would highly recommend this establishment for flowers, gifts, etc! Thank you...
