Market House Grille — Restaurant in Meadville

Very good homemade food! Great service. The staff is pretty cool. They have vegetarian options, which is great, but to get a 5 star rating . . . there would have to be local ingredients used whenever possible, and perhaps some organic options. I'm really torn between 4 and 5 stars, because of the location of this place, and how they use the space that's available. I really wish American businesses would use this model more often. It's a great atmosphere. I'll probably change my review in the future as I visit here more often. I can't believe I haven't eaten here more often. Server was rude, threw the menus at us and never once checked on us. We waited 45 minutes for our breakfast for two. Would have been worth the wait if the food was good, but mine was terrible. My potatoes and peppers were not cooked through and there were huge chunks of onions (also crunchy) that were not mentioned as being included on the menu. His breakfast was fine but not good, nothing was overly warm. Will think twice before...

This is small town America at it's best. You can tell everyone that is there are old friends, and having a good time. It seems like most of the staff even know a lot of the customers. BONUS: the marketplace is literally through the swinging doors, so once you lick your plate clean, you can browse all the neat products offered there. For locals, this is must go weekend...
