During my visit, I came across a gorgeous bag on display that I wanted to purchase. It had visible signs of wear, small stains at the bottom, and a deteriorated tag. It appeared to be used rather than brand new with a price of $371 after discount.
When I approached a staff member and requested a new bag in better condition, I was told it was the last one available. This response raised suspicions regarding why such a defective item was still being offered? It shouldn't even be on display.
Even though this is an outlet store, it's still reasonable to expect a certain level of quality. Specially for a price tag of over $300.
The treatment we received at this store was far from satisfactory. We felt constantly followed by 1 employee and then racially profiled by the rest. While it is not unusual to encounter the occasional sales representative who may come across as rude or pretentious, customers should not be judged or treated differently based on assumptions or stereotypes.
It was only after the cashier checked us out and requested my phone number to access my shopping history with Tory Burch (this includes boutiques, outlets & website) that their approach suddenly became much nicer. However, by that point, the damage had already been done.
The inventory available was the same one from last years' 2022 outlet holiday collection spread around the store in different spots, (we visited during the 2023 holiday collection) so not that much variety at the end of the day...
If you're looking for newer and more stylish items, it might be worth exploring other Tory Burch outlets like Houston, Miami, or Orlando and contacting their stores to get one of their friendly sales reps so they can even source items if they're not available at their outlet store and ship...
Read moreI just wanted to say that I had exceptional service from Alexis today. She helped me with a bracelet, and when I asked if I might try on a pair of earrings to feel the weight she went to ask. The associate she asked looked over at me, gave a nasty look and said no. Ok, understandable, you don’t want everyone trying on your earrings, but your nonverbals lost your earring sale! Then when I was rung out by another associate I had another unpleasant experience. The associate made no eye contact, didn’t ask how I was or if I found everything ok. Instead she was more concerned with whether someone still had their headset on. She did walk around the cash wrap to give me my purchase but didn’t thank me or say, have a nice day. In fact, I the customer told her thank you and to have a nice night. If your getting paid for something, your job…please just fake an enjoyable customer experience, believe me it can make or break someone’s day. Thank you Alexis for being such a model of what customer service...
Read moreVery rude. As I'm purchasing gifts for the holiday season, I was taking a picture of few wallets for my family to choose, and the guy, which I believe is the manager, came and said "You cannot take pictures in here, you will have to remove the pictures from your phone". He could have just say "sorry, no picture allowed", instead, he chose to be rude.
And when I was paying, I asked for gift receipt for the two items I purchase, and the woman named Gina "we cannot keep giving out gift receipts" What? I only have two items and she refused to give me gift receipts. She said she can only give me one gift receipt with everything on there. Then what's the point for gift...
