Bojangles — Restaurant in Mebane

Wow. What a sad representation of this company. If this Mebane location is any indication of what the rest of the concept is like the company should just go away. The store is gross. Our food was mediocre at best. The service was rough. The only reason this location is open is because it's next to I40. We went because one of my kids heard they had new buffalo wings and wanted to try them. They didn't have any to sell but tons of signage around promoting. The cashier was slow and mostly concerned with talking to the two other employees and looking at his phone. None of the employees appeared to be a manager. I don't understand why this store is open at all. The level of service and care here tells me that there are days when the store doesn't open because no one showed up for work. From what I could tell the product we were given doesn't complete with anything in it's category. I'd put Bojangles with Zaxby's and Popeyes and the product doesn't beat either. Management and the regional for this location should put their keys in the register and go home. I was surprised to see the customer who came in after we sat down came in barefoot and the cashier ignored him for a while and then I heard him say that his order from the drive thru was incorrect and he was driving with no shoes on. That guy got whatever it was worked out finally and left angry. There was a glimmer of hope before we left. I have lived behind this bojangles for over 2 in a half years this place has been the most terrible place in mebane that I’ve eaten at, they are always under staffed, it gets so bad that they will lock the doors because they are either lazy or like I said understaffed, the chicken tenders are usually burnt or over cooked bread chewy and very little chicken on the inside. The sweet tea is ALWAYS watered down on the inside because they never refill it/ keep up with it. I’ve gone here consistently for 2 in a half years it is just terrible and sad and I have never had an argument or problem with the people it’s just obvious this place is not being ran right and very little attention being put into it. I’ll elevate the awareness if it continues because this place does not need to be here they opened a newer bojangles 4mins from this one and it is way better service. This bojangles should be turned into a sonics with new management and all I’m sorry but this place NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED and I have had 3+ friends agree with me on...

Unfortunately I had the worst experience here. I ordered online and they refused to make my order. I showed up at 8:50 when the order was supposed to be ready at 8:40. I stood inside for 15 minutes before anyone said anything to me. While standing there i heard some interesting things including... "we wont be accommodating anybody tonight" "no more fresh chicken tonight, what we have is what we get" " i guess we are serving diarrhea tonight" just to name a few.

When i finally did get greeted, they said that I could only get thighs. I was supposed to get the 8 piece chicken box. Long story short, I asked for a refund. The lady said that I had to go through the app and she wasnt going to help me.

Mainly disappointed because I have someone visiting from Japan, first time in u.s.a. and this is her view of bojangles now. This location needs to fire the management because they should not be working. I really thing corporate should check in on this place and probably...
