Anybody giving this place over 3 stars must have been paid off! They only get one star because I can't give zero!
My husband and I had been driving from Maryland back to Atlanta and decided to stop and have a quick meal. We were greeted immediately and seated at a table that smelled like it had been wiped with a dirty rag!
The server took her time getting to our table to get our drink order. My husband got the jumbo mango margarita and I got the small one. Didn't taste like mango and there was NO Tequila! The server brought the manager to our table to address the drink issue, he claimed to have put four shots of tequila in his drink, but he probably just forgot. He gave us each a shot of tequila to mix in ourselves.
When we placed our order, the server didn't know anything about the food. I ordered the steak chimichangas and asked her if it came with rice or beans and she said, "I don't know." then looked at the menu and said it only comes with lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream. So I asked for rice and beans. My husband ordered the fajita quesadilla with shrimp and black beans, since out server said the meal didn't come with anything. Food comes out and both meals come with rice! So now we have extra sides that we didn't need because the server didn't know anything! The manager said he would take the extra sides off, which he didn't, but made sure to remove from the table. I could have used the extra sides because I could only eat a few bites of my food. The steak was overcooked, had a weird smell and some pieces had like an iridescent appearance. My husband asked for queso dip for his food and was brought out a bowl of shredded, unmelted cheese! He only ended up eating the beans and rice as well.
Finally we asked for our check and before I could even fill out the receipt, the server was trying to take it off the table! I told her I hadn't filled it out yet and she said ok, I wait and STOOD at the table while I wrote it out! Both my husband and I were servers so it was hard to not give her anything but thats what she deserved, so my husband just gave her $5.

I am not sure why they delivered our plates with hotpads when they were in no way hot at all. We were charged extra for getting grilled chicken, to me this felt like just a scam to upsell the ticket. The menu said chicken, the server asked us what kind of chicken we wanted. She gave us a choice of 3 different ones. When we had gone there previously they did not do this. She asked if we wanted chicken with vegetables, grilled chicken or plain chicken. I said grilled, I wasn't really sure what to say, usually an enchilada has meat or cheese. Well we got our check, and they charged us extra for "grilled chicken" !!!!!! It was not that much but still ridiculous. We live in Mebane and I really love Mexican food but this is a place that we will keep avoiding in the future. IF YOU ARE GOING TO CHARGE PEOPLE EXTRA FOR JUST ORDERING THEIR MEAL BECAUSE YOU OFFER THEM THE CHOICES THEN YOU SHOULD TELL THEM THAT THERE IS A HIGHER CHARGE THAN WHAT IS CLEARLY LISTED ON THE MENU. I HAVE SEEN OTHER RESTAURANTS LIST OUT WHAT GETTING A DIFFERENT MEAT WILL COST, IF THE COST IS DIFFERENT. MAYBE TRY THAT INSTEAD OF LEAVING YOUR CUSTOMERS FEELING SCAMMED. When I complained to the manager I was told that some customers had previously been confused about what kind of chicken they were getting in their food???? B.S. You should have a recipe for chicken enchiladas and follow that. I just make mine with chicken. Also, the chicken we were charged extra for was in no way grilled. Read moreI love the food and I love when we go there to eat and we used to call in orders to go, but about 6 months ago we had called in a order to go and I drove about 10 miles there to get the food I have the order number, I give the order number to the lady at the register and she said that there was no order. She then said that no one had called in a order for our food. I asked her how I had a order number if we had never called it. I called my wife and had her call back in to the store and and talked to them and she got the same person that she had talked the first time, and they said that they had forgotten to put the order in. I didn't like that the first response from the lady at the register was that we had not called the order. We had not eaten there since. Flash forward 6 months and my wife calls in a to go order, I go to pick it up with the order number and they have no order again, I can't believe it. I have my wife call back in again and she gets the same person again and they had forgotten to put the order in. They need to really work on there call in process, if this has happened to me two times in a row how many other people does this happen to.
