Village at Taunton Forge — Local services in Medford Township

This used to be a beautiful shopping center a long time ago. Until the two greedy owners who do not care about Medford, took over, kicked out a supermarket, and then clear cut and deforrested over three acres of beautiful magnificent trees that made this part of Medford so beautiful. The place is mostly deserted. Deforrested. And a complete dive. Clearcutting lost them even more business, and made the neighbors upset as they now stare into a delapitated parking lot. Now they want to clear cut the rest of the trees, and there are even less stores. Just a sad shabby old shopping center with nowhere to shop. Keep driving and go to Murphys or Shop Rite in Medford, shop Rite in Tabernacle, or downtown...

There are a lot of great shops in this plaza, everything from restaurants to health services, coffee and booze, and it's with mixed feelings that I encourage anyone who is reading this to investigate it for themselves...mostly because I don't want it to get super popular and thereby more difficult to travel freely within. So there are some home runs in this shopping center. Tacos is a really cool restaurant and the liquor store has a pretty solid beer selection, but that's about it.
