This was the most amazing Italian restaurant I've ever been to. I can't say enough about it. The staff was beyond friendly, professional, and prompt on everything! There wasn't ONE morsel of food that wasn't impeccable! The bread (2 kinds) that comes to the table before you order is unbelievably flavorful and worth the take home! My husband got the Chicken Paesano ( I think I spelled that correctly), absolutely delicious and so fresh! I got their special, which was pumpkin ravioli. 😲😵💫🤯 I have always wanted to try pumpkin ravioli, and when I say I hit the JACKPOT deciding to do it at that time and that place. It was a pumpkin ravioli in a savory, creamy marsala sauce, an explosion of savory, sweet, savory flavor bouncing all over the place. It was a party in my mouth!!! Portions were very generous and therefore resulted in doggy bags for both of us. We enjoyed it so much that we had to try desert, didn't feel complete since everything had been so perfectly perfect up to that point. We also usually never order dessert, but we did. Hubby got cheesecake, probably, LITERALLY the best I'd ever put in my mouth. Also a massive slice at that. I got the Limoncello Marscapone cake...📢🎆🎆 THAT, it's a MUST try for all. Even their coffee was amazing. OMG, I can't believe I almost forgot about the out of this world red pepper, roasted cauliflower, sharp provolone soup. There is so much flavor, it blows your mind! Read moreHappened in late evening on a Sunday when in search of a decent Italian Hoagie. Good heavens did this place deliver! Now mind you, Illiano Cucina is not a sub shop/deli, but more of a fine dining establishment. But they absolutely nailed it and my craving was satisfied for sure.
The roll was exactly what I had hoped for - not too soft, not stale whatsoever, yet had a nice chew to it and stood up to it's ingredients without falling apart.
The condiments were expertly distributed, and as ordered. I enjoy mayo on my hoagies, and there was just the right amount. The LTO was crisp and fresh, with a light addition of oil and vinegar, and a shake of oregano to finish.
And as for the main attraction, the meat and cheese: So good! I ordered the sharp provolone and it complimented this masterpiece perfectly. And the meats - my God the meats!- made this sandwich unreal good. They're not listed on the menu, but I want to say capoicola and prosciutto, just rounded this thing out. I just wish there was more!
So yeah. My apologies to the owners or any staff who may read this for only reviewing a hoagie when the entire menu is likely straight 🔥🔥🔥 if this was any indicator. But like I said, I just kinda happened upon Illiano Cucina while driving nearby.

Sauce was bland & the toppings ordered also tasteless. 1/2 Eggplant which we were charged 3.00 & the other 1/2 mushrooms for 1.50. Beware if you do order mushrooms they are saute in lots of garlic..which I feel is overpowering. I do not get these. The dough is old, making for tough crust & pie. My friend order the Eggplant rotini which really no bigger portion than 2" by 2" piece for $16.00. She did get a salad with that. Instead of pasta which you normally get she ask for broccoli. An additional charge of $3.99 for 2 small stalks with garlic & oil. We wound up throwing most of the pizza out the next day. I know things are tough in the restaurant business but it will be sometime I order again from them. Almost forgot we did order an antipasti $15.00 plus $3.00 for a few anchovies. Salad was decent. Also they threw in their pizza bread that had not been heated. Only live 2 min away. Will not be returning too soon. UNFORTUNATE as I thought they were always very fair...
