When we walked in, we were greeted by every single working employee. The older man could tell we havent been there because we were staring at the menu for awhile.. he was explaining what they had and all of the varieties. We assumed he was the owner because he was so knowledgeable. I believe he said yes to every question we asked! When it got time to make our pizza, our 7 year old was trying to peak over the counter to watch. Instead, he told my son that he could watch from the side to get a better view. While doing this, he asked his name and exchanged some pleasantries. After a bit, he had to make other pizzas. (Obviously) but my son wanted to keep watching. He is a lovely man, and earned our business, and possibly a birthday party !! Thank you Giovanni !!!

I went on to tell him again, my calamari tastes and smells horribly of fish, indicating they’re old, to which he responds “calamari is fish so it’s supposed to taste like fish”. If anyone knows good food AT ALL, they’d know that calamari isn’t even a fish and It’s definitely NOT supposed to smell like a fish market, let alone taste like it. The conversation ended with Massimo hanging up on me and the restaurant eventually refunding me for the 3 items. There is nothing worse than paying $60 for a dinner that’s...
