Went to the Vero location on June 20nd and was told by Sharon (who was pleasant) and Pam (who had a blunt, unconcerned attitude) that they weren't doing layaway at the moment. So I called the Melbourne location to see if they were doing it and they told me yesterday. On June 22nd I called them again to see if I could make payments at a different location and I was told I could. So went to the Melbourne location (which is about 30 miles away) and placed a layaway. I asked the cashier (Samantha) if I could make payments at a different location (just to confirm) and she said yes. Today, I went to make a payment at the Vero, they can't pull up my layaway because it's at a different location. Mind you, I asked multiple times and got the same answer. I told them I was in the store last month to place a layaway and was told they weren't doing at the time. Well, what Pam and Sharon failed to tell me was that during their inventory, they don't do layaways. But I could've came back the next day to make one. And today, Pam still had that unconcerned attitude like she could care less and whoever I spoke with at the Melbourne location (which I'm guessing was the manager), had the same attitude like she really didn't care that I was told the wrong information. Upon entering, I noticed that all the shopping carts were dirty and filled with trash, making them unusable. Worse, I stepped in human feces smeared across the floor in one of the aisles. Employees walked by without addressing it, so I informed a manager at the front desk. Unfortunately, the manager responded with an attitude, showing no concern for the issue or the fact that I had gotten feces on my shoes. When I emphasized how unacceptable this was, she became defensive, offering no apology or plan to resolve the situation. This experience was deeply disappointing, and it reflects poorly on the storeās management. I strongly recommend that the general manager investigate this location and consider new leadership to ensure daily operations meet basic standards of cleanliness and customer service. Ā Ā Ā Read moreAVOID THIS LOCATION. Just 5 years ago, this store was clean, organized and welcoming. Now, it's a hot mess. Clothing and items falling off racks and just disgustingly messy--all the 5-packs of underwear were missing one (obviously because it was stolen). The shelves are disorganized even though the staff is running around trying to clear it out while they contend with a stack of go-backs practically touching the ceiling. You can tell they're CLEARLY understaffed and poorly managed. I feel so bad for the women working there. I literally watched a customer walk out with a cart full of things she didn't pay for while laughing at the manager who tried to stop them. I have worked in retail before.
