I ask for Amy to do it ( I got recommendations).. First time I was waiting almost 25 minutes. Second time I came with very thin nails what make 3 of them break very hurt way ( in the middle of my nails). I was ask her to not (!!!) make my nails thin and she start to argue with me. Sundly she isn't speak English and instead to call her manager or boss ( very rude woman and she is also the owner) to explain me she look at me and yell me in viatnamis in some point I was so mad that she is speak to me in language that I don't understand in purpose kind of make joke of me with her co worker that was stand next to her! I yell her that I'm not speaking viatnamis and better for her to speak to me in this same language. She call to her boss that was so rude and I was telling her that last time she shape my nails very thin and now they broke. She said 'oh so If you don't like it we can't keep it. It was very dirty work she -( Amy) start to build my nails with the hard gel when she didn't take off all the previous nail polish. Also she didn't put glue on the broke nails. I'm doing so long years nails ( all the kind). I never was so mad.
Please try to finde different place. Her boss live in some movie...

Read moreI am writing this review with deep disappointment regarding my recent experience with Chloe.
After seeing one or two positive reviews on Google, I specifically booked an appointment with her. However, from the moment I sat down, her attitude was unexpectedly cold and unprofessional. Her face looked visibly irritated, and her tone—laden with reluctance—lacked even the most basic courtesy one would expect in a client-facing role.
When I showed her the design I had in mind, she brusquely told me to choose the colors myself. As a client, I expected some professional guidance, especially since this is her workplace and she is presumably familiar with the available options. Instead, she dismissed me with, “You won’t like it anyway if I choose,” a presumptuous and rude comment, particularly given that we had never interacted before. I was taken aback by how defensive and unprofessional she was from the very beginning.
Unfortunately, her attitude remained the same throughout the session. Her technique was anything but careful—the surface of my nails was uneven and rough, and the final design looked nothing like the reference I had provided. When she began wrapping up, I asked, “Is this finished?” to which she replied, “This is the best I can do.” I was stunned. In the end, I had to have the entire set removed and redone by another artist.
At no point during the appointment did she check in with me to see if I was satisfied with the progress or the design. Her complete lack of communication and basic professionalism was truly shocking.
Frankly, even if her technical skills had been lacking, a kind and respectful attitude would have made all the difference. I would have simply paid, tipped her, and walked away quietly. But instead, she not only wasted my time with substandard work, she had the audacity to tell me she had wasted her time on me. That moment left me genuinely speechless. Whose time was truly wasted—hers or mine?
Having received nail services from various professionals for over a decade, I can say with full confidence that this was the most disappointing experience I have ever had. Chloe’s lack of attention to detail, coupled with her indifferent and dismissive behavior, reflects a serious absence of both skill and work ethic. This is not a hobby—it is a profession.
As a paying client, I invested my time and money into this appointment. I sincerely hope Chloe takes a moment to reflect on the responsibilities her job entails and seeks improvement not only in her technical skills but, more importantly, in her professional conduct. Courtesy, communication, and pride in one’s work are not optional in this field—they are...
Read moreI visited this salon two months ago for my sister-in-law's wedding to get a gel nail polish on my hands. Unfortunately, the quality was poor, and all the polish peeled off within a few days. My sister-in-law, a professional nail technician in San Francisco, immediately noted that the polish wouldn't last, and she was right. I submitted a review about my experience, and the owner invited me to come back for a fix in exchange for removing the review. I agreed and returned to the salon on Wednesday before the long weekend.
This time, a different technician applied the gel polish. Before I left, I asked the owner if she thought the polish would last, as I noticed it was touching the skin, which usually causes peeling. She agreed with my concern, and another technician began filing the bottom of my nails with a device. Unfortunately, this made my nails look as though the polish had been on for several days. Additionally, the second technician seemed to be in a hurry to finish, possibly because she wasn't being paid for the service. Despite my dissatisfaction, I didn't say anything at the time because I was in a hurry. I removed my initial review and decided to move on hoping it will last although it looked weird. :(
However, the very next day, the polish on one nail started peeling, and soon after, other nails followed. The attached picture shows the condition of my nails just three days after the service.
I called the owner to inform her of what happened, and she started blaming my nails or my hormones for the issue, as if this was the first time I had ever had my nails done. The work was so poor that the two layers of polish cracked and separated, which clearly indicates a quality issue, not a problem with my nails. This level of workmanship and customer service is unacceptable.
Edit response to the owner:
Thank you for your response. However, I need to clarify:
No Request for Free Services: I did not ask for a free set of nails. I called to inform you about the recurring issues with the gel polish per your request. I paid $110 first time I was there so define “FREE”
Quality Concerns: The gel polish peeled off within days twice. My sister-in-law, a professional nail technician, confirmed issues with the application. Rude Response: Blaming my nails and hormones was unprofessional and dismissive of my concerns. I think you will benefit most if you actually train your staff so they know how to actually do what they are...
