On this day May 29, 2024 My mom checked into this hotel for her wedding event for Friday which she had already booked a wedding block 2 years prior. Day 1 as everyone else checked in we noticed everyone is separated on different floors. Front desk was giving guest gift bags & were told to make sure all guest that checked in for the Reinoso Wedding received a guest gift bag. We get to the suite and there was a muggy smell, the bathroom toilets were yellow and stained, The shower was rusted and stained,no outlets at all to charge any devices. Overall the entire hotel needs to be updated. As the day went on we were celebrating the bachelorette party around 9:30 we hear a knock at the door it was the hotel security stating we have our 1st noise complaint last time I checked the noise ordinance doesn’t start until after 10pm. As the night went on it is now around 11pm the same security stated this was our second noise complaint which if they would have giving the correct block my mom had booked for it would have avoided any noise complaints because everyone that checked in that day would have been on the same floor. As this time everyone is getting ready to go to bed. There were 3 pull out couches in this suite. All of them had absolutely no sheets on them and/or in a closet so we could make a bed for them all very unsanitary if you ask me. Day 2 they are more guests checking in we get told they are not receiving the guest gift bags. My mom then called down to the front desk to inform them. As the day went on we get informed two more times they still are not passing out the guest gift bags and ended up giving them to people with another Wedding event happening Saturday. Savannah was supposed to be the wedding event coordinator to make sure everything was organized. It is now rehearsal & she was no where to be found. Savannah was told we needed extra chairs set up for the day of the wedding, which didn’t happen until last minute. Day 3 Wedding Day. Savannah is still no where to be found. The wedding package my mom paid for was supposed to include 4 hours of open bar for 40 people the wedding party including the bride and groom will make 24 the open bar only lasted an hour in a half if that. While the wedding was going on Savannah then decides to pop up and walk up to the bride and tell her she will have a balance with the open bar. The bride was not informed that the limit was reached with 40 people at the open bar. 30 minutes after open bar started the appetizers came out and again nobody was informed. As the wedding day is on going it is now time for dinner they just plopped the food in the corner of the reception room and did not inform the bridal party or bride and groom. The after party is now coming to an end at 11pm. The bride and groom were supposed to have this last night free from the hotel. They are now walking up to the 8th floor where the president suite is & they get told by security they have to keep it down which is understandable but also keep in mind it is now around 11:25 the wedding party just ended. The security named Bill proceeded to harass the newlyweds up to there room caused an argument & decided to call the cops, which ended in the bride and groom having to drive home on there wedding day. I am very disappointed in this hotel, hotel staff, management, and security. We had absolutely no hospitality, no consideration, no...
Read moreWe reserved our room at the Hilton Rialto for one night (5/22/2024) to attend our granddaughter’s graduation because I believed the Hilton name guaranteed a certain standard of care and quality. On arrival, we noted that the large square clothes hook on the bathroom door was falling off, the grout in the shower was mildew stained, rust stains from handicap bar on shower wall and paint buckled and pealing near bottom of bathroom door. Later that evening while closing the curtains for the night, the left side rod and railing pulled out of the ceiling. During dinner we asked Frank, the bar host, if there was a cooler available to leave a large bouquet of flowers in overnight. He was quick to say “absolutely”, placed an identification note with my name and room number on the bouquet. In the morning when I asked to pick up the flowers, no one knew anything about them. They were not in any of their coolers. The food and beverage manager came out to talk with me about the problem. I asked him to contact Frank or Nicole and determine the location of our bouquet. He returned saying that first, it was not his responsibility, hotel policy forbid staff from performing this task and that the flowers (a very large, expensive bouquet) had been thrown away. When I asked him why someone did not contact me instead of throwing away our bouquet, he had no answer. The tone of his response to me, as his customer, was not sincerely apologetic. He just repeatedly asked me what did I want him to do? Finally, out of pure frustration, I said I expected our room charge to be refunded. He informed me he did not have that power and would speak to a finance person. Given the lack of quality and care, I advised him we would not choose this hotel in future. No one from this hotel has attempted to contact me regarding this breach of care. Hilton no longer stands for quality and customer care as evidenced by the above.
UPDATE: The front desk supervisor, Hailey Luongo, is the only member of the Hilton staff to contact me. I had requested a room refund. Ms.Luongo was apologetic and advised she was unable to facilitate as Hilton would not allow her to issue a refund. She posted 30,000 points to my Hilton Honors account since refunding not available (points that will never be used). Hilton responded to my Google review asking what they could do to make this right. I suggest they instruct their Executive team to take back their 30,000 points and issue a refund for our stay. Short of that, I'll avoid Hilton Hotels and their sister...
Read moreMy sister and I stayed at the Melbourne Hilton from July 9th through Sunday July 11th 2021. First they put us in a room where the glaze was coming off the tub and the walls in the bathroom were dirty. I took pictures and went downstairs and asked for a clean room Tanisha the desk clerk seemed irritated that there was an issue with the room but she did switch our room. However the second room they moved us into the paint was peeling off the desk the floors were dirty and the walls were nasty in the bathroom; there was also black stains in the bottom of the bathtub. We just went to the store and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the room ourselves because we did not want to risk what was next Before we finally headed out I checked my bank account, I was surprised to see that they had charged me for the full price of the room plus a split. At the beginning of our check-in the desk Tanisha asked my sister and I if we wanted to split the cost of the room we did and she charged me and my sister $171 each when I went back downstairs to get the issue corrected she got snotty with me. She first said she did not charge me, when her supervisor came over she said that she released it, they then said booking.com charged me(I did not prepay this stay) booking.com did not charge me; the Hilton Melbourne did. Although I was promised this was only a pending charge and that it would drop off. Today Tuesday July 13 I was CHARGED for the full cost of the room and the cost of the split. The General manager is claiming it was released, but released charges do not come out of your account. You also have to request house cleaning, and they don't tell you the latest time to ask for it they just say oh it's too late(11am) for house cleaning. We were not in Florida for pleasure or sister is critically ill. I understand mistakes. I do not understand nasty attitudes or shifting blame this was a horrible experience. The fact that the rooms were dirty, and employees with bad attitudes this entire stay was horrible. I would not suggest anybody go to this place. I took pictures I wish there was a way to...
