Cooper-Young Community Farmers Market — Local services in Memphis

We had an amazing time at the Cooper Young Farmer's Market. This was our first visit. It was so full of amazing local goodies. We purchased fresh Organic Salad Mix, Sunflower Microgreens, Kale, Swiss Chard and Catnip from Rosecreek Farms. The Salad Mix was especially delicious and so much better than anything found in stores. The fresh Catnip was also VERY highly recommended by our beloved fur babies. Blues City Microgreens cuts the Microgreens in front of you as you order them. We purchased the Wasabi Microgreens and the Borage Microgreens. The freshness and flavor of both were amazing. Bluff City Mushrooms was another delightful discovery. We purchased the half pound Chef's pick that included Lion's Mane, Shiitaki, Oyster, and Golden Oyster. It was so fun. We especially enjoyed the Lion's Mane and Shiitakes. Our final purchase of the day was a load of Rye from Lucy J's. It was the most delicious Rye we have ever eaten. Overall the experience was fantastic and left us feeling excited about all of our new culinary adventures...

If you are looking for something to start your weekend, this is it. It’s a community farmers market with all its goodness and charm. You will find many vendors with all fresh produces, fresh eggs, flowers, vegetables and greens, and many other stuff. There are stalls with coffee, breakfast pastries and other baked goodies for you to try. The ambiance is lively with a lot of vendors and visitors, with live music. I enjoyed my time. The options at this market are wonderful. Fresh baked bread, veggies of all sorts, jewelry, and crafts abound.
