Take 5 Car Wash — Local services in Memphis

I stopped by today to get a wash and the member line had 3 cars and was not moving because someone’s sticker wouldn’t read. So I went into the other line and that RF reader should've let me through. Apparently it is broken. So back into the line that wasn't moving. When I got up to the gate I asked the person who later identified herself as the manager why the reader in the other line was still broken. It has been broken quite a while off and on. She suggested that if I wanted it fixed I should pay for it. I told her repairs are part of a business plan and if it hadn't been budgeted that maybe the plan was flawed. She then told me not to come back to this location. I told her I was invested in this one and I would be back. She then shutdown the Carwash and went into the office. When she came out she informed me that my account was cancelled and that I had a few days left on my current bill cycle and then I was done. It takes a lot of gall to resolve a problem of broken equipment with a membership cancellation. It's a shame because it was convenient. Honestly though I don't see how this place can continue with such horrid...

BEWARE OF THE CORPORATE SCAM Yes, it is a good convenient place the Colliervillers could take advantage of cleaning their cars. I had been member ever since the facility opened.

But, WATCH OUT for the SCAM you could get into the one I experienced. They will have you signed up for the service at around $26/Month to deduct straight from your bank account or debit card. As we usually don't notice after couple of months, they hike the price to $40. I don't know how long they had been drawing the money. Lately I realized and asked about it. The corporate Service agent Sina was very helpful to offer me adjustment for just one current month. When I questioned about past several years, the answer was, " AS YOU AGREED TO THE AGREEMENT WHILE SIGNING UP, WE DON'T HAVE TO REVEAL YOU THE PRICE CHANGE". Hmmm...really!!! That means they were charging me for years $40/month while others being charged only $26/month. It is not the fault of who work at the facility but their corporate office.

It is a good convenient facility but watch your bank statement...

After a year of poor quality and service and professionalism, I quit going here a year ago. I have them another chance today 6/22/20. They are consistent....Kaila had the personality of a rock, didn’t fold my mirrors in, wouldn’t speak when I asked if she was going to, just held her hands up and mumbled.

The truck was not clean, so I went back around to go again, she took my receipt, walked away, mumbling again, leaving me there at the kiosk. I had to yell to ask if I needed to pull ahead. Again, shrugged her shoulders and mumbled. So I pulled ahead. Then wouldn’t give me my receipt, and said I’ll have to pull back around to get it.

FYI, it was a very slow day and I was one of four cars I saw here on a Monday morning. I’ll never be back...

Oh yeah, the quality is sub par. They do not pre pressure clean or wipe down the vehicle as it’s exiting.

This is not the place you want to go if you want a good car wash experience!!!
